5th new signing for Barcelona today. They signed Dani Alves from Sevilla for 32 Million Euros.

Villarreal have signed Jozy Altidore from New York Red Bulls and Robert Mario Flores from River Plate(Uruguay). I dont know the fee.

Hi Spellbound.

Jozy was already added. I don't know why you can't see it. Maybe you need to set your browser to check for newer version of a page, every time you visit the page.

On Dani Alves, only goal.com is carrying that story and I won't confirm it until it is on Barcelona's website, whis it is not at the moment.

I'm only making an exception for Aaron Ramsey, because the ManUtd.com state that a fee has agreed and I'm relatively confident he will sign.

Thanks for the interest and keep letting me know, if I've missed out on any transfers from the top leagues.

I also agree there's nothing that Alves has gone to Barcelona. Not on Barcelona's offical site, not on BBC Football and neither SkySports.

That's the only thing I honestly don't belive.
Also I will be making an exception for Ramsay since I think he will come to United.

Gera agrees Fulham switch

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...670331,00.html

Hungary star rejects new contract in favour of Craven Cottage deal

Zoltan Gera has decided to move to Fulham, according to West Brom manager Tony Mowbray.

The 29-year-old Hungary midfielder had been a key player for West Brom after joining from Ferencvaros in 2004, but he has turned down the offer of a new contract to move to West London.

"Having offered Zoltan the best contract we could at this time, we could do no more," Mowbray told the club's official website.

"We would like to wish Zoltan all the best with his future career. Everyone at Albion appreciated his professionalism on and off the field.

"But football moves on and, just as we did last summer, we are looking forward to the challenge of finding new faces to strengthen the squad for the season ahead."

Ramsey wants Arsenal move

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...672303,00.html

Winger opts for Gunners over champions and Everton

In-demand teenager Aaron Ramsey has told Cardiff City that he wants to join Arsenal.

Cardiff have accepted £5million bids from Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.

The winger has held talks with all three clubs and has now decided upon a move to Emirates Stadium, having flown out to Switzerland to meet Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

A statement on Cardiff's official website read: "Cardiff City were informed on Friday morning that Aaron Ramsey's preferred destination this summer is at Emirates Stadium with Arsenal.

"We will now continue the dialogue with the Gunners with a view to Aaron's move being completed.

"The move unlike other options, however, does not include a loan back period at Ninian Park for the 2008/09 season."

Reports have claimed that Cardiff boss Dave Jones, and chairman Peter Ridsdale, were keen for Ramsey to join United as the Premier League champions were willing to agree a loan deal for next season.

However, Arsenal have put up the most persuasive argument for Ramsey and will now try to finalise a deal with Cardiff.

The 17-year-old has become one of the hottest properties in British football after a promising second half to last season, which culminated in a substitute's appearance in the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth.

For me, the most interesting signing so far is Spurs' new Croatian, Modric. Neat
player, and will be interesting to see how he performs next season!

The other interesting signing would also be a Spurs signing, Giovani dos Santos.

Modric is a good player with good ball control and good passing. Against the Austrians he looked like he struggled a bit against their physicality. It will be interesting to see how he will do against the Germans tomorrow.

Dos Santos has a lot of potential, but I'm sure Barcelona would not have let him go, if they felt he could be a world-beater. But he might just become a world-beater.

The question for me is whether dos Santos can develope and appetite to be a winner and not just a footballer who plays for a big club and makes a lot of money.

Farfan makes Schalke switch
Striker snubs Spurs for Bundesliga club
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...674676,00.html

Jefferson Farfan has completed his transfer from PSV Eindhoven to Schalke for a reported fee of €10million (£7.9million).

The Bundesliga club revealed that the Peru international will put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Veltins Arena.

Reports suggest that the striker turned down offers from Fiorentina and Tottenham Hotspur in favour of singing for Schalke.

Schalke general manager Andreas Muller said: "He is a very solid player who can only help but take the club forward."

New Royal Blues coach Fred Rutten has been keen to bolster his frontline, and Farfan will team up with forward Kevin Kuranyi as the club looks to mount a title charge next season.

Napoli Capture Argentine Tank German Gustavo Denis and Christian Maggio

http://goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=731815

Napoli have agreed a deal to sign Independiente hitman German Denis, and will announce his signing over the next few hours.

The Partenopei are one of the most ambitious teams in Italy, and President Aurelio De Laurentiis has hopes to take the club into the elite regions of Serie A.

The southerners have vowed to make a number of big signings this summer, and have already made their first notable capture by snapping up German Denis from Independiente.

The Argentine hitman, nicknamed ‘The Tank’ has been in prolific form since joining Independiente from Colon in 2006, scoring 44 goals in just 65 games. The 26-year-old, who is renowned for his power, has won two caps for Argentina.

Napoli will pay around €11m for Denis, who will partner compatriot Ezequiel Lavezzi in an exciting looking frontline.

Denis has already had one unsuccessful stint in Italian football back in 2002/03 with Cesena.

Official: Napoli Sign Maggio
Napoli have pulled off a major coup by signing Sampdoria star Christian Maggio for €8m.

Maggio had a superb 2007/08 season for Samp, and was one of the best right full backs in Serie A.

His trademark runs down the flank were a key factor in Samp’s qualification for the UEFA Cup, and he also chipped in with a highly impressive nine goals in 29 games, leading to calls that he should go to Euro 2008.

Three clubs had been strongly linked with signing Maggio this summer; Napoli, Aston Villa and AC Milan, however it is the Partenopei who have won the race to snap him up.

Napoli will pay €8m to Sampdoria, while the 26-year-old Maggio has signed a five year contract worth €800,000 a season.

The Azzurri are also expected to announce the signing of Argentine hitman German Denis from Independiente in the next few hours.
