Agreed!!

Spot on, the thing is as regards to replacing Ronnie, you wont, but he will prob never have a season this good again, maybe he knows this and wants to quit at the top

Ricardo Quaresma could be Mourinho's first signing as Inter boss.

Quaresma is VERY overrated. He plays like Ronnie did in his first year for
United i.e lots of dribbling and skill with very little end product.
He is highly frustrating to watch and must really annoy his team mates at times.
He is older than Ronaldo, so if he hasnt improved by now, then I think its too
late. He will never be half the player Ronnie is.
I really hope we dont sign him. No thanks

yes, he is a little overrated. but if you do follow him, he's not necessary all skills. he knows how to think. its just that he's kind of inconsistent at times.

Getting Quaresma to replace Ronaldo would be replacing him like for like.

I'm not saying Quaresma is as good as Ronaldo, but he is very similar in style, but not as consistent.

I would prefer someone who is more a team player. And someone who doesn't do silly little things just to put himself more in the spotlight....like stopping when running up to a penalty.

Ronaldoo..... he's got great skill and talent, but he's such a poser. The fact that he can admint that he likes watching himself on TV is so off-putting and would explain his goal celebrations and selfishness.

You can see it in the way he poses when taking a free kick or a penalty.

WHEN (not if) he leaves, I would prefer a player like Ashley Young or even David Bentley. Some say the latter is arrogant, but at least on the pitch he's more of a team player than Ronaldo.

would agree until the very last bit mate, if real were too come in for bentley after a few good seasons at united he would be the type to want to move on aswell, ashley young would be brilliant and i would love to see him at united he'd also be of about half ronnys salary and his delivery is amazing aswell

knew this thread would come up sooner or later after the ron news!!
anyway
quaresma is quite inconsistent and not the best player.....dont think i want him at united.......i dont think we will find a perfect replacement for ronnie.......
so i say we dont look for one and look at a player like bentley maybe or someone like that!!!
not exactly bentley!!

He would be a bargain for that price, to sell Ronaldo for 70 million and replace him with Quaresma for 24 million is incredible business.

so-here we go - you asked me to comment about him so i will- quaresma-what do say about him - my gut feeling tells me that he can develope into a fantastic player but my sence tells me that he does not show up against the tough team ( same as riquelme ) - - i like watching him play .c oz he plays attrsactive footie and who is a better person to be his mentor that saf
so-the verdict- sure why not - i would love to see him here even if it means his failure - it won't be the end of the world...
