hes got the potential to be as good
but i fell we need a real out and out winger if ronny does leave
someone that would be glued to the wing rather than comming inside all the time

But he is older than Ronaldo Eventually there wont be any
potential left...his career will be over and he will retire.....

You do make a good point Nat, about needing a winger who will stay out wide.
IF Ronaldo leaves (which he wont imo) then we can worry about it.....
Id rather a Ribery or a Messi anyday over Quaresma....

I said it before and Ill say it again...he IS overrated...

He is older than Ronaldo, so if he hasnt improved by now, then I think its too
late. He will never be half the player Ronnie is.
I really hope we dont sign him. No thanks

from what ive seen of quaresma he seems gd ive only really seen youtube clips and they wouldnt show his poor qualities. i dont think he can be anywhere near ronaldos level or the ac's inter's and madrid's woulld be bidding for him. also he doesnt start for portugal as simao gets in ahead of him so he cant be world class or even the same class as simao, a players whose quality wouldnt have a great impact at ot. i herd he is inconsistent and we need consistency if he were to replace ronaldo who scores or has a decisive impact almost every game.

Some of his skills are awesome and dazzling. But he is not consistent in performance and his pace is really poor. He is not a dilligent player like Ronny. Quaresma will never be a perfect replacement for Ronny. Moreover he is not a Red Devil style mold player. We should bring Arshavin if Ronny really leave. Afalley can be a option as a right winger but it is hard to find replacement for Ronny.

Quaresma £24m? I'd pay anything from £9-12m. He's got skill but loses the ball alot. it's not like he's 18 and still learning, the guy is 24. he needs to grow up & b a team player. if ronaldo does go for £50-70m. Everone will try to make us pay over the odds for their players (£24m). so personally, i make nani a first-teamer as alot of you are suggesting, as he is ready. hargreaves, park can also play right. i would invest in a left footed left winger( robben & messi r the only ones who will make an instant impact) & a striker, not a tournament player as he would flop. e.g david villa.

Porto cool Quaresma talk

Porto president Jorge Pinto da Costa says the club are 'very far' from an agreement to sell Ricardo Quaresma to Internazionale.

Quaresma has been linked with a move to the Italian champions after Jose Mourinho was appointed Inter coach.

Mourinho's former club Chelsea have also been mooted as admirers of the winger after ex-Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari took charge at Stamford Bridge.

However, Inter are the favourites to sign the 24-year-old, who is under contract at Porto for a further three seasons.

Not fanciful

Pinto da Costa has not ruled out selling Quaresma, but admits no imminent move to the Giuseppe Meazza is planned for the wide man.

"I will not say that everything is fanciful, but we are very from being able to say that [the agreement] is close," Pinto da Costa told reporters in Portugal.

The Porto president also dismissed claims that Mourinho wants to take defender Bruno Alves to Serie A this summer.

He added: "That is totally false and Jose Mourinho has already denied it."

ive seen him play a couple of times, both euro's and for his club and i think his got alot of potential aswell as alot of skills. He is very much like how ronaldo was in his first seasons, all flashy skills and hardly not enough end product. He has the pace and strength to cut it in the prem tho. could be moulded into a very good player.

oh ive also got to add that he hasnt been the favourate player of his past managers, doesnt listen to well lol...
