Pavlyuchenko has been the most underrated Russian player,he looks to me like a prolific goalscorer given the right combination around him.He's scored 3 times already ,while the likes of Benzima scored zero with all the hype...in my opinion with some improvement,he has a bright future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He wouldn't be my first choice but he has a lot of potential and I don't think with all the money washing around in Russian football just now that he would come that cheaply....perhaps had a move been made pre Euros then the price would be lower but not now.

Even though Benzema had a poor tournament, ( he was playing in a very poor France team after all ), he seems to have more about him skill wise and just as importantly I get the impression that he has an agressive side like Rooney and Tevez that I like in a frontman. I could see him fitting in that bit easier to the premiership. I know that he has said that Real are his preferred option but I think that we should pull out all the stops to make him feel he is wanted, that Old Trafford is the best place to continue his development and that with him alongside Rooney CR and Tevez, we will continue to be the best team in Europe.
