Man United Target Halan Refuses To Train With Rennes

Manchester United Premiership Transfer News Manchester United transfer target Jeremy Halan has refused to train with Ligue 1 side Rennes in an attempt to seal a dream move to Old Trafford.
17-year-old Halan has risen through the youth system at the French side, with the youngster only recently signing a a trainee contract with Les Rouges et Noirs, and is considered to be one one of the bright young stars of French football.
However, Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi has been disappointed with the reaction of Halan, who was told he would not be allowed to make the switch to the Premier League. With Dreossi comfirming that Halan has refused to train with Rennes in an attempt to force the club into letting him leave for Sir Alex Ferguson’s team.
“He has still not joined in training sessions,” Dreossi told France Football.
“He is under contract, but he wants to join Manchester United. The problem is we don't want to sell.
“I can't see how it could be possible for him to leave. He has signed a contract with his parents.”
Rennes have asked the French League to step in and take some action against Halan, with Halan now being banned from the French Under-17 National team.
