Romelu Lukaku - "The New Drogba"

He's going to have a thread sooner or later so I thought I'd get the ball rolling with this.

He's a 16-year-old wonderkid who's recently broken into the Anderlecht first team, with a pretty impressive goal record if Wikipedia is up to date. His strength and ability has earned him the moniker of "The New Drogba."

There's been no main-stream sources linking him with us as of yet, just mere online reports, so to avoid anyone getting sand in their ****** I'll stick this in football banter. If you feel it belongs in transfer spec. then your choice, mods. He's only 16 though as I said, so we can't think about signing him for a couple of years, can we?

I can't see us signing him regardless, because he reportedly has Real, Milan, Chelsea, etc all tracking his progress, but given his extraordinary talent and early breakthrough, I think we should track his progress and watch in awe, plus there's a thread on him on just about every forum on the internet. We don't want to be left out do we?


Oh, and before anyone says it, no I didn't discover him on FM. I haven't signed him on FM fyi, but that's just given me a bloody good idea!

In all seriousness, upon further research he has been playing first team football for
Anderlecht this year and even received a standing ovation.

Probably a player for the future with that kind of CV.

He is on fire this season. At only 16 he has scored 3 goals in the Europa League and is the top scorer in the Belgian League with 13 goals. That is absolutely unbelievable. Haven't saw him play yet but we should be hearing a lot about him in the next few years
