New player search...
I know it's a little early to talk new signing for next season , but hey what the hell!
Scholes(Age), Giggs(Age), Neville(Age), Rio (Injuries), Hargeaves (Injuries), M Owen (??) Vidic (possible transfer!), Van Der Saar(Age).
With these players in mind I was just wondering your thoughts on next season. I know we have in-house replacements in Tosic, Gibson, Oberton, the twins, Diouf, Wellbeck, Macheda and so on....I know they are all still young but will any of these players be able to step up into the boots of Giggs & co?
Who could we sign in this over inflated market????

This should probably be in the transfer talk section. Anyway, The four 'golden oldies' will be incredibly difficult to replace, it might take 3-4 years for us to truly replace them. Rio will be back to his best before the end of the season (I hope), he has just been made England captain so there is no need to go looking for a potential replacement. Hargreaves is a wait and see situation, if he isn't back to his best at this stage next season well then we should consider replacing him. Fletcher has more than made up for the loss of Hargreaves IMO. Owen hasn't really played, whenever he has played he has always been decent. I'm happy with Owen's contribution so far, but I think that we might sell him in the summer. We have Diouf and Welbeck coming through so they can replace him next season if he does leave. Vidic is still a beast and I'd love it if he stayed but unfortunately I also think that he will be sold in the summer. There's no need to buy a new CB if he does leave as we already have Jonny Evans and then Cathcart and Smalling will be joining our squad next season. I know that our older players haven't got the legs to play week in, week out but they will still play an important role during next season's campaign. Though I do think that Neville will retire in June. All of the youngsters that you have mentioned have a chance of making the grade here, it will be difficult at first but they will eventually develop into Man Utd players. Who could we sign? Your guess is as good as mine, I wouldn't expect to see us signing anyone major, maybe we'll sign a few more youngsters.

If Anderson doesn't kick on from recent events then i think we'll go for a box to box midfielder. I have 2 in mind.
i also think a left footed winger is a must to improve us.

A goalkeeper is al we need to be honest. We have a lot of quality young players coming through and it wouldnt hurt to give them a shot next season, but I definitely dont see anybody coming through our academy with enough talent to replace Vds.

the glazers will want a marquee signing to signal that fergie still has money to spend
i figure vidic sale and a few others off wage bill would allow him maybe 50 million, so if hargreaves doesnt recover maybe a mid to replace him .
still say we must pull out the stops to get neuer ---------- maybe aguerro will come this summer
maybe a cheeky bid for essien

Neuer would get a very good signing.
Essien no chance.
Aguerro i doubt because of wages and asking price.
I like Y Gourcuff, he would slot into the middle pretty well.
Evans is vid replacement with Smalling coming in as back up.
I think we just need a few tweaks.

midfield, ando n gibbo, winger, obertan , striker, diouf ...............with much more super young talent, pogba, keane, petrucci, what more can you asked !!

Personally I'd love to see Villa and Silva join. Can't see it though.
Maybe Milner because Fergie loves players who can play in a number of positions.
Someone for the left, because seeing the name Park on the United team sheet depresses me.

Seriously doubt we'd get 9 million for him if we sold him. Villa is a great player but him and the white Pele up front together
