For me, we are 2, maybe 3 players short of perfection. And the two positions that need filling are right back, and a new striker and possible left back cover, so I would like us to sign the following:

Philip Lahm - The young German player can play right back and left back, and wants out of Bayern, and with his contract up in a year, Bayern will be forced to sell this summer.

Karim Benzema - Fantastic young striker, who is setting France and Europe alight. He'll cost a bit, but at 20 years old, he'll be worth every penny.

Infact we would need a fullback as the Brazilian twins are too young. Need somebody atleast for a couple of years...an average squad player rather than a popular left back with ego clashes with Evra.

U never know? Look At Anderson People said he was too young, and needed time to adjust...

But its good to have a back up if things go wrong

I reckon Lahm and Huntelaar would sort us.

I cant see us spending huge money on Benzema, never mind convincing him, to sit here on the bench as I dont want to break up Rooney/Tevez chemistry! HUntelaar is class but not as well known or wanted by clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Lahm is good Left back cover, and can be our right back, assuming Neville keeps getting set back a la Solksjaer!

I think that Manchester should buy Goran Pandev, macedonian player who plays in Lazio. You will have 2 in 1 - middlefilder and striker.
He is that player who hit three goals against Real Madrid in two games in the champions league and two goals against Juventus.
Just in the Seria A in 16 games he have 8 goals (without the champions league and Italy cup).
He is good player for the attack and for the middlefield because he can score goals and can pass very good. He sad that he wants to come and play in England so this is Manchester United chance to buy him now.
