I think you'll find he barely got his chance and has proved he can cut it in the EPL, where it matters

Well he has had a great first season in the Prem.....
Its still a hard one to call, we get mentioned with every half decent striker
under the sun......
I wouldnt say he is 'United quality' but Blackburn certainly got themselves a
great deal on that one.

Santa Cruz is alright and he is having a very good season, but if we're going to get a striker, I think Huntelaar is a much better possible target.

If we're going to get a striker it has to be Huntelaar or Luis Fabiano.
I like Benzema, but he's not moving.
Berba has great feet, but a sulky disposition.

Personally, I rate Roque Santa Cruz very highly. He's a striker who possessed great mobility, superb technique, excellent aerial prowess & clinical finishing ability. 20 goals & 6 assists in 40 club appearances for Blackburn Rovers at his first season in the Premiership, he has already put in many outstanding performances. Another shrewd buy of Sparky's, he'd come fairly cheap if United decided to put in an official bid for him. Moreover with the great quality of supply to him at United, I could see him netting much more. At 26, he's probably not the ideal choice for many United supporters but one good thing is that he's already proven in the Premiership & the physical game in England is nothing to him.

Yeah Sparky has made some really shrewd buys these past couple of seasons. Everyone's talk Ass-ene Wenger being shrewd with his buys but he's not the only one who can pull off coups.

i always admired this guy, don't know why, but i do know now. he's scored some nice goals this season, a couple of 180's as well i'm sure? (i.e. bulls eye.. 60+60+60 = treble lol).

is he quick? I think he'd be worth of a premiership buy.. give Sparky £10m+ Frazer Campell and i think we have a deal here..
