Nobody asked a question about where he would be dealt with !
So nobody has read any lines that are not there !
The conversation is right there above here in quotes. Skele
said he wished he could have a fair trial in Serbia. You said
"No ! Trial in Holland !"
I put it to you that you're the person who is reading lines
that are not there ?
Eastern Europeans do sometimes appear to have a chip
on their shoulder and with good reason too. The West
does have a habit of looking down on us like we are third
world countries. In Romania we have people who make
millions every year. We have ferraris and Rolls Royces,
plush 5 star hotels, beautiful holiday resorts by the sea,
ski resorts, hi-tech hospitals, the biggest steel industry
in Europe ...... the Americans are even sniffing around
because we have big oil fields at Ploiesti. Did you know
if you want to work for Microsoft in America they advise
it is a good idea to learn to speak Romanian ! There are
so many clever programmers in our country they are
filling Microsoft with them, lol. Romanian is second only
to English !
Not just Romania, all East European countries are the
same. They just need time and some money to catch
up with the West, we were, after all, held back for 60
years by the communists. Myself and Skele were just
saying that in our opinion Serbia had the right to decide
where he was tried. They are more than capable of
doing this. They are more than capable of asking for
the help from The Hague if they choose to do so.
"No ! Trial in Holland !" - shows a certain degree
of arrogance if you ask me. It's not like The West are
perfect at sorting other peoples problems out is it ?
Iraq ?
Vietnam ?
North Ireland ?
Korea ?
Afghanistan ?
