well you were really lucky then..
lots of kids get beaten for mundane issues that in a normal family unit would never be a problem.
the law protects children.but wwhere do parents rights fit in?. parents can discipline children without using brute force.
but the law doesn't distinquish between a slap and a beating.
no body knows what really goes on in a home.why would that kid make such allegations?

the law has actually taken away respect and by doing that has allowed many kids to run wild and behave in ways that are unacceptable.
you know why that is,because the youngsters now have no fear.no fear of authority or of anything. because at the end of the day,they can and do mostly whatever they like.
