Wayne Rooney is hoping bitter rivals Liverpool will do Manchester United a massive favour next weekend by beating fellow title challengers Chelsea at Anfield.
Manchester United would move ahead of Liverpool in the number of league titles won - both clubs are crently on 18 titles each - but Rooney believes Liverpool's pride will mean they won't roll over for Carlo Ancelotti's men on Sunday.
"I'm sure Liverpool will want to beat Chelsea," Rooney said.
"The pride they've got and the history they've got, I'm sure they'll want to win that game.
"They are fighting to get into the Europa League."
