Okay from now on I'll express myself with opinions that purposely go against the grain then criticise others as "brainless" because they "follow" the majority.

I was going to wait for others to give that a thumbs up or a yea yea haha, but no, not patient enough not to bite back...

I didn't say brainless, i was just putting it out there the reality of people jumping on the bangwagon on a popular name at the minute and defending my view that a low key player is just as good. Didn't say one was better than the other, just putting my man out there for a debate. Which has become a very fruitful yet sour at times! haha.

You must have doubts in your opinions if he's getting linked to Real Madrid surely? Come on! Admit it for Uncle Harts!... come on...

There's no doubts. My point is he's being overrated because of the league he's in, nothing's changed. Madrid get linked with about ten players per day.

Plus, Metro isn't the most reliable source now is it?

The league he's in is irrelivant. I can tell you many players who played in lower leagues then ended up top players. Drogba was in the french 2nd division til he was 24. 24!! Imagine that. And how many players get linked with Real Madrid from the Championship though? i can't recall seeing it before.

United have sent scouts to watch him. And United don't waste their time on average joes. Come on SimplyGiggsy. Something smells here. Is it that hard to believe that a top foriegn talent is learning his trade in our 'pathetic' 2nd division?

Some cakes are ready to eat straight from the oven, others just need a little more time to gather the taste. ;)

Drogba is an exception, not an example.

It doesn't matter what league it's in, if you play well you're linked with Madrid, less so with English players.

United send scouts all over the world, just yesterday they watched Bilbao v Espanyol I'm told, so what? We hear a player is doing well we check him out, it's how it works.

Cahill? Maybe not at the highest level but good player. Jagielka to name another. Im sure there's plenty others around the world who kicked on late.

And how do you know we was watching Bilbao? Maybe there's a real talent playing in that game too.

Martin Ferguson was spotted at the game. There are a few players there we've been linked to, Javi Martinez, Iker Munian and Fernando Llorente (although he didn't play) that we could have watched.

They play for a team in a top league though. Not an average joe in the Championship.

Just quickly research alittle... Malouda was playing 2nd division til he was 20. Didn't join a big club til he was 23. I bet i can find loads. but i wont.

This is potentially true, a few players do find themselves down the leagues that have the talent. Jason Koumas is probably a counter-productive example though he was a fine player at one stage and compared with Giggs(probably just down to nationality) but he has failed to really ignite any of this when he made it to the EPL.

Taarabt is looking good, hes still young and alot of a players maturing happens between 22-25 however im not convinced hes of Manchester United quality yet, perhaps a season in the EPL will change that for me.

Was looking forward to seeing him today to see what all the fuss is about but he's on the bench.

Smart move i think. Bring him on 30 mins to go to get the fans buzzing! Either that or he's injured.

Would have been a tough ask today against Andy O'Brien.

Edit: and you're doing well on the predictions! Be warned though, im after ya!!

I know Warnock rates him. Said recently he's never had a player like him. But i've not seen enough to judge.
