I would definately take him. Would add a touch of class to our midfield. Only on a short-term basis though

i would rather see a longterm solution to our midfield problems , we should be signing someone who is at the top of his game not coming to the end of it.

Fergie has done it before by signing Owen when we lacked experience in the striking and signing a player he always admired... the same can be said about Lampard

P.S. - We would also get a player whom we can give the arm band as well

Hahaha, he's not fit enough to wear the shirt. Literately.

    No No and No.

Not what we need and that money could be spent on someone better. We need to close the wound on the midfield, not gloss it over with a band aid.

Yes please. In the right system, he can give us around 10 goals and assists.

same can be said about Lampard as well then ... look at the kind of impact he is able to make whenever he plays for Chelsea this season... i guess he netted 2 winners in the last month for them

Nothing in it, total BS. Frank Lampard wouldn't join us, i'm pretty sure he is still happy at Chelsea, he loves them to much to walk away. Also 33 years old, just about past it and not the player we need.

Sometimes what is needed to a band aid to stop the wound becoming infected until a proper bandage can be found...

Well I'd love to stick on a De Rossi or a M'Villa type band aid instead of a 33 year old matured band-aid to heal up the scabs in our midfield.

I think you've missed my point Prince...

De Rossi or M'Villa would be the bandage. Lampard would be the band aid (ie. short term solution until a long term solution is available/realistic).

Totally agree with that... keeping aside whether this is feasible or not, whether Lampard is willing to leave Chelsea or not... he is certainly the right kind of option to have in the current situation .....
