Hip Hip is dead. It's been replaced by generic cheesy pop artists like 50 pence.

Some good stuff posted here guys, i'm surprised!

Anyway what's your fav hip hop album out this year so far?

For me it has to be Mos Def's "The Ecstatic"... the album is flawless, i've had it in heavy rotation since its release. :D

Listen to a lot of Hip Hop. Many of the greats like Tupac, Big L, Wu-Tang, Rakim, and NWA. Although I listen to more recent artists like The Roots and Joe Budden too who are doing great stuff.

Personally, I believe Royce Da 5'9" is the best out there today. I recommend anybody who likes Hip Hop and hasn't heard him should give him a listen.
