Fans of his old club Leverkusen are still very sure that he will go back to them. Some wannabe Insiders said he had a medical already a few days ago....

Are you going to stay if Berbatov leaves Orko?

    Daily Star though....

    http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/253126/Dimitar-Berbatov-closing-in-on-PSG-move/?

DIMITAR BERBATOV is closing in on a summer switch to Paris Saint Germain.

He’s desperate to quit Manchester United after falling down the pecking order.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to use the Bulgarian as a makeweight in a £14m deal to land Borussia Dortmund’s Poland international Robert Lewandowski.

But Berbatov has opened talks with Carlo Ancelotti’s big spenders instead.

Ancelotti is a huge admirer of the 31-year-old and reckons his experience could be vital in the Champions League next season.

The Qatar-owned outfit have millions at their disposal and Berbatov’s valuation of around £7m is well within budget.

Ancelotti can match Berbatov’s £90,000-a-week wages too and could even agree to a pay rise to land him.

The striker started just five league games for United last season and knows his time in Manchester is up.

Berbatov’s agent Emil Danchev said: “PSG’s project can really interest him because he wants to play in the Champions League.”

I think Berbatov would do well in France. He'd enjoy life in Paris, I reckon.

PSG wants Lavezzi, dont think Berba is first choice for them.

Good luck to a player who has hasnt been used well by us. he needs to be involved in the play a lot more than we could give him owing to the other quality players we had.

when he is the main player up front and getting plenty of involvement, he will once again show the form which persuaded our hierarchy to pay £31m for him

No matter how much you dislike, or dont rate Berba, he has amazing skill, and could easily end a season in France with 20+ Goals.

And i bet he does just that, and Wellers/Chich manage 18+ between them... it would be just our luck!

Oh and also, Lavezzi plays on the wing or as a second striker. So they could easily buy them both!

He could work well together with Lavezzi to be honest. If PSG get them both that would be some f**king team.

    I called it.

He'll be hear doing the exact same thing again. Carling Cup/FA Cup duty and some "easy" home games around Christmas.

    Useful to have.

Yeah, 80k a week to play dead rubbers against the retard teams of English football...

Very useful, am glad he'll be taking up a spot that a younger, hungrier striker could have...

Who might that be? This is probably due to Will Keane's injury.

It's a long season and he'll be an asset, just as long we actually play him when others are in bad form or injured (hopefully not).

We couldn't replace him for the measly fee we could demand, so it makes us stronger to take advantage of just having him available if needs must.

Maybe Fergie has had second thoughts and realised that if he had played him more last season, we'd most likely of won the league.

To be fair it's obvious that we want to sell. SAF told Berba that he's not in his plans. Obviously we haven't received a decent offer though.

Wouldn't surprise me if he does leave, but I can see this one dragging.
