neymar is talented but totaly different type of player. neymar reminds of certain ex man Shity brazilian player! they are two different positons. and neymar have had his share of injurys too, which is why so far none of the clubs have paid the money the club wanted to sell him for(30-40 mill). eriksen brings a lot to the table. he is already better than anderson, not worse than carrick!(he is better going forward than carrick! as for cleverly the jury still out if he can have seaon with out many injuries. anyway here is video from last weeks ajax game they won 6-0 and the 19 year old is involved in most things there! i think to go to a team like ajax and beocme their best player at 19 says a lot!
It was a shame that it clashed with our match so I couldn't watch it, but that ball at 4 :12 is why I'm raving about him, I think we miss that a lot.
Neymar has had his fair share of of injuries? When exactly was that? The reason he hasn't been sold is because Santos aren't really looking to sell him. Although they play different positions, Neymar is much, much better than him, in a different class TBH.
1. I've never said a thing about who is better, just the impossibility of comparison. 2. Tell me more about how you watch the brazilian league and santos, and not the youtube videos.
all i try to say they are playing different position! and cant really be compared! and yes he had a lot of injuryis. i think all you need to do is google a little and you see. chelsea tried to sign him but they placed a price of 30-40 mill i think. and yes he is a good player, but as for beeing much much better , i am not sure. i have seen both play, and both do great job at their position! and to be honest sometimes i feel neymar got a little too much overhyped(but most than again all young potentials do). there are some other brazilain talent i rate just as much. neymar kind of remind me of robinho.
1 Well hence I asked if that's what you were suggesting. You painted a very favourable picture for Eriksen while calling Neymar a player from a third world league. 2 I'm from south africa. We've got something called DSTV here, which is like our version of american cable. It's got 8 sports channels and 4 of them focus mainly on football. They show Brazilian football too, so no! I'm not a youtube person. I've actually seen probably around 40 games of his.
I didn't paint a "very favourable picture", I painted a realistic one. I stated facts, and didn't say anything skill wise. And I just don't get what's your problem with calling Neymar a "player from a third world league".
Fair enough. Because that very same league has produced some of the greatest footballers we've ever seen. The dutch league isn't any better than the Brazilian league anyways.
The quality of the league doesn't have anything to do with individual player skills, it just makes comparing impossible.
When you think about it that's not true. clubs sign players from different leagues in the world comparing them with other options and the current players they have on their roster. Which means that they compare them all. Hazard plays in the french league but I'm sure you could compare him favourably to wingers in the prem.
Club sign players by their scouting reports and not comparing them with others through footage. Hazard plays in France, do some maths and think about is Brazil or France closer to Europe, and the Cl.
You have missed the point. Clubs sign players after scout reports and such yes, so to make the judgement whether to sign them or not you would have to make a judgement about whether the skills displayed in one league were transferable to the other, and whether they would be better than the players you currently have, who are playing in your league. Not sure which maths exactly would be involved in showing that France is more similar to the Champions League, but the French and Dutch leagues aren't far apart. Plus Neymar regularly shines for the Brazil national team, who aren't all that terrible. There's no harm in taking someone's ideas on board and admitting your logic may have been a bit off the mark
No, you're missing the point. The initial argument was that I said that you cannot compare two youngsters from such different leagues, and about France, I said that it is easier to compare the french and the dutch league's players than the brazilian's to others, which you just repeated.
