    Well that is a remarkable turnaround from Pakistan...in complete disarray a year ago and now turning over the No.1 team in world cricket. Absolutely stunning win. They piled on the pressure by strangling England's run-scoring opportunities, forced some mistakes and produced several gorgeous deliveries

    Pakistan are number 1 now - England were made to look like a pub team! Come on Pakistan :D

    Over to the FA Cup now :)

    Almighty collapse from the England batting against Sri Lanka. Looked in cruise control in the morning session, but losing 6 wickets for 30-odd runs is just poor. That's 4 away matches they've lost in a row now, all in the subcontinent.

    Kevin Pietersen has announced he has retired from international limited overs cricket. He says he would have liked to carry on playing 20-20 but according to ECB rules if you retire from one day internationals you can no longer play 20-20 cricket.

    Man I used to like this sport until they bought the 20-20 shit. It has ever since ruined this game. The fixed shit IPL takes the cake for it. In a decade, they'll probably remove test format of cricket as well.

    Test cricket is proper cricket and will never leave. Look at KP retiring from one-days so as to keep going in Tests. Every professional cricketer still sees Test cricket as the Holy Grail...and rightly so.

    Yeah, but you can't guarantee that there will be genuine test cricketers in 10 years from now. Players can earn twice or thrice as much in T-20 leagues across the world.

    Yeah but they won't play T-20 all year round. They'll have certain dates for T-20 and certain others for ODI's and Tests....Tests won't go away and will stay the pinnacle of the game.
