England are going to be getting two more huge (and I mean huge) talents from Ireland very, very soon. I know I said it before but remember the names George Dockrell (especially him) and Paul Stirling. These guys are 20 and 21 respectively and are made for the highest level....


Though I sincerely hope that our application for Test status is granted. We've asked to become a Test nation for 2020....if we don't our exodus of top quality players will continue. In recent years we've lost Ed Joyce (though he came back), Eoin Morgan (one of the best ODI and T-20 batsmen in the world) and will in all likelihood lose Stirling and Dockrell to England. That's gotta stop or cricket will never expand.

Eoin Morgan is a good player but he is not world class yet imo. He has way to many flaws in my opinion He reminds me of graham thorpe just a little uglier in his style. I am shocked moeen Ali has not been called into the england one day squad yet, very talented player.

Anyway i've enjoyed the west indies vs enland games even though it has been fairly easy for england. Today the first day in birmingham at edgbaston was cancelled due to rain...no suprises there. I've played on the actual pitch there and used to train there too with the county and so on, fun times.

Anyway as a kid I used to love West Indies cricket, my favourite player of all time was west indian so it is sad to see the state their game is in now even though they are improving again. Still not sure if the young players have enough professionals around them to fulfill their talent but I would like to see it happen.

Darren Bravo looks in terms of natural talent he could be as good if not better than any current england batsmen, he has so much time and elegance about his game but has failed so far in this series.

Finn should get a game in birmingham, should be interesting to see how he gets on too.
