Was we not in a similar position last year when we had to play Chelsea? The same sort of vibe amongst the fans, yet on the night we put in a real shift and won. When the pressure is on for us to win, we always seem to pull through (other than recent CL finals...but that doesn't count)

Remember last season:

United had a 6 point lead over Chelsea after 34 games played, then the following week:
Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham
Arsenal 1-0 United

The week after, we played Chelsea in a seeming title decider, and a lot of people expected us to falter then. But, we scored an early goal, and it was a cruise after that.

That's exactly the attitude we need: we cannot go into the game hoping for a draw. Start with some measured tempo, catch them off guard. Show them where the power in Manchester lay before this season, and where it will continue to lie for many more years to come .

Even then they've got the harder run in facing a team who's one of the most in form teams in the premiership and another who's fighting for it's life down the bottom. Meanwhile we've got a team who's started to slump after a great start under there manager and a team who isn't half as dangerous away from home as they are at home.
