From the few times I've seen Hazard play he does that anyway. He could start off out left, but drifts across the width of the pitch. He works hard to get possession also and once he does, the first thing on his mind is getting the ball forward. Sometimes rather hastily.

But if a club really wants a player, the agent will have the advantage when negotiating a contract so whether he lies or not the clubs aren't in the position of power.

This is true of course but to me it's more about how it's executed. A good agent should be able to achive the same effect with much more subtle means. This have gone so far that it can almost only end up with him being a disappointment.

I don't want to hear from him. I want the club which is signing him to announce the deal, as it should be.

Player power is crazy as it is....

Its obvious that us, City and Chelsea really want this player, but so far none of them seem to have gave into his demands.

Last week wage demands were being reported at 200k per week. Now its 120k per week.

We have had a few quotes from Hazard and his agent and they have both been pretty coy in their words with neither of them really giving anything away. I really don't think either of them are anything like what the media (who are turning this transfer into a circus) are making them out to be.

Well the club said ultimately its Hazard that decides where he wants to go. It's best he just tells that club he wants to join and he can go on his holiday's or play his friendly games.

Not subtle as such but avoid making clubs feel like the fat kid in PE.

It would be naive to think we do not indulge agents like everybody else has to. Why do you think we signed Bebe?

I don't think we are. That's what I am saying. I honestly believe that none of the 3 clubs are being held to ransom. The agent said that there are no more negotiations and a decision would be made soon, the player has said that he wants to move to a team where he will get the most play time and get to play in his favoured position.

I think the next thing we will hear will be the club who wins his signature making an officail announcement. It would be foolish for the player to some out and say that he is signing for any of the 3 clubs before he has actually passed a medical and signed the contract.

I will be pretty disappointed if we miss out on him because we were not willing to pay 120k per week. The way todays wages are, he is certainly worth that.

If he signs for us than great, he would definitely improve our squad. If not than i expect us to move onto the next target which i hope is Munian.

There's a slight difference between indulging agents and paying an unknown agent £6 m. Bebe was probably a favour to get on Mendez good side which makes more sense as he actually have a bunch of known clients and a good reputation.

Just to be clear Hazard never said he would announce where he was going after the Nancy game.
He said that he would make his decision at the end of the season. All the media misunderstood this and thought he meant after the game Lille-Nancy. He meant in the following weeks at the end of the season.
Now again there's been media talk that he would announce it after the england game.
Again he just said that he wanted to concentrate on the 2 friendly games and then make his decision after the 2nd of june and then go on a holiday with his family and a peace of mind.

Also after the game against Nancy he told the press that he wouldn't tell where he was going untill he put his signature on the contract. (so this seems to me like he won't announce anything and will just wait for the official pressconference where him and his future club will reveal where he signed.
