I would much rather get Hazard over Nico Gaitan, but addressing the mid should be number one.

Saw some threads saying he is the top target for United over at Lillie. Would defs be nice, and a great player to add to the squad, I just hope he plays CAM though, because we have more then enough AMAZING wingers. If not, defiantly also need a good midfielder.

I think it makes sense going for at least one winger/cam as we're probably going to play a more accentuated 4-2-3-1 next season. At least I suspect as much since Fergie says he wants to add more speed to our play. If this is the case, it makes sense to go for players like Gaitan or Hazard seeing as we only have 2 players that can play an attacking role through the centre (excluding Giggs) and one of them will potentially be used as the striker.

SAF knows the importance of rotation and having a quality squad rathet than a superb first team. Getting another winger (or two?) means all our attacking players except for Valencia and Hernandez can play in a variety of attacking positions, something which will make sure injuries won't take their toll.

For us to play this system effectivley we still need a CM that can control play and ping passes. Someone like Martinez springs to mind. Therefore I would very much welcome both Hazard and Gaitan to the club as improvents and a sign of that something new is happening.

Stekelenburg was second choice, we had got him if De Gea had said No. Sneijder was the wages and Etoo being sold.

I don't know, Sir Alex has always favored discretion while dealing with transfer targets, why would he let the clubs coach mouth off to the press regarding who we're interested in? if anything this looks like a smokescreen.

Yes, but only because VDS was retiring. We have no need for another winger, Valencia, Young and Nani can do the job. If we were to buy Hazard, I can only see him as a replacement for Nani. Out of Nani and Young, Nani is the more inconsistent of our false wingers.
