Whether you like it or not this is not a priority. Giggs and Scholes do not have games in them on Thursday then Sunday. Keep them for league games, which are far more important.
I´d at least have them on the bench to have them available if we need them. I also think only one of them will start vs. Wolves, the other one can be involved in EL then.
Any team we put out should be able to beat Wolves comfortably. But you just never know with us. To put in such an effort against Bilbao and not win, followed by dropped points against Wolves would be disastrous. We have to beat them by two goals to go through.
this. the decisive question for me is how interested and motivated they all are for this.....given our performances so far in EL I say they are more hungry in the league games. I believe its possible, that win by two goals. But only if everyone gives 100% . Whoever is chosen to play should be good enough. But if the heads aren´t right we´ll also lose with our best 11.

It's possible, depending on the injuries. If we can get Valencia and Cleverley fit all season, and get Nani back on form, we can win both. Also it would be good if Chicharito and Welbeck remember how to score.

I'm sick of the rest this, rest that, priority this, priority that ****. City can cope with playing almost identical sides, both in EL and PL, so why couldn't we once in a while?! Besides if we can't match this, imagine the case if we were still playing Champions league? Would people want to play Fryers at LB in CL too?!
maybe also because of too much rotation? Sir Alex rarely played the same team (also due to injuries I know that....) sometimes he just puzzled together whats available, without any clear structure. Midfielders as defenders, defenders in midfield - also when the players could´ve played in their normal positions. What about some consistent line-ups now?
Barca also can..... in League and CL. morph, problem here (and in other forums) is simply that the majority sees it as lesser cup. Channel 5 Cup. Its not the CC, its a European Cup. But fans of english teams can´t get that into their heads. We all should not forget that clubs can earn some good money there.
As much as I would like us to win the Europa League because Fergie never has, we're going out on thursday night. Our team is good enough to win the league in England but no way near strong enough to win in Europe.
