Nail on the head there, I think the goal that was chopped off was Madrids first shot on goal. Folk can whinge and moan as much as they like but they were simply beaten by a better team. I still think we will take them.
Barcelona were the better team and deserved to go through over two legs, but, Real's first WAS legit. Ronaldo in no way did it intentionally, and a foul is an INTENTIONAL obstruction to gain advantage.
Assuming you go through. I am predicting Rooney will see a red card, and it's 95% undeserved, 100% undeserved if you buy logic, bartha will have forced him to act out by being jackasses
also, were they would have deserved it or not, I feel, had the decisions gone their way **scratch that** - been correct - Madrid may very well have gone through.
His work-rate was phenomenal though, and that whole "rolling around" comment is pathetic, he was kicked all night yet I never once saw him complain, you're a deluded Ronaldo fan boy, simple as that.
Ref didnt do too shabby at all,Was lenient.A few mistakes but in General did well Lass Diarra is an absolute beast.Def my man of the match
there was no way they were going to score 3, they had some good moments during the match, but Barcelona had total control again. Maybe a piece of magic from Ronaldo might have gotten them through, but he looked uninterested at times today, very wasteful.
I don't think Barca's goal would have happened if Madrid's 1st would have counted, but I know they wouldn't have lost 2-0 had Pepe not been wrongly sent off.
He went down easily all night. I'm not a fanboy at all, I just think Ronaldo is the better player, and can't stand those who suck his dick if he passes the ball 2 yards.
They were in total control, the last 20 minutes of the first half Madrid could have conceded a few never mind scored them. If Carvalho had been rightly sent off why would anyone think the game would have panned out any different from the first leg?
Im not sure what game you were watching, because he was brought down unnecesarily way too much, im guessing you think he should have stayed on his feet when Adebayor grabbed him by his shoulders and threw him on his arse, your love for all things Ronaldo has blinded the **** out of you, and im sorry but you might be the biggest Ronaldo fanboy ive ever met
To be honest I don't give a **** what you think, I've seen a lot of both and I think Ronaldo is the better player, end of. The way the media have built up Messi like a saviour of football means every touch he makes is greeted with over the top praise and every time he's tackled the tackler is public enemy #1.
I have to agree with your pepe theory, Mourinho might have gotten a lot of criticism because of how Madrid played in the first leg, but I seriously believe they would have gotten through if the first leg would have ended 0-0 at the bernabeu like he intended, Barcelona would have played with a lot more pressure today without the away goals and Madrid would have capitalized on that Imo. Todays game looked a lot like a formality more than anything, Barcelona didn't really feel the need to score more goals so they just passed the ball around needlessly most of the time.
Well theres a reason why he gets all that praise, hes the best player in the world, only bias United and Madrid supporters would claim otherwise.
no, I wouldn't really have a problem with you saying Ronaldo is better if you could really elaborate, all you do is talk about how Messi dives, or how hes only shining because of xavi or how Ronaldo would score more if he played with Barcelona etc, ******** like that makes you look like a little fan boy, if Ronaldo is really better than Messi then hes obviously holding himself back, because today he had chances yet all he tried to do was be the hero again and wasted precious opportunities that could have been absolutely crucial.
I've mentioned in detail in the Ronaldo v Messi thread why I think Ronaldo is the better player, I'm not going to repeat myself.
If there's one thing about Ronaldo over the years i have doubts about its his ability to perform well in a game that matters. Apart from the CL'08 Final ive never seen him be really effective in those types of games. He has his days, but largely is marked out of the game. On the other hand Messi has the ability to shrug off players with tidy footwork at any stage. This is a big debate anyways, i think both players have differing qualities.
