This will give you food for thought. When the glazers took charge our overseas revenue was just over one million pounds a year. In the time since takeover it has reached over 100 million a year. Take out the interest on loans of circa 50 million and ...... This was in the telegraph by a very savvy man today and the figures are there to review. I await all the usual arguements but maybe Fergie could see the broader picture. We know that the glazers want to make money out of us but it seems the cost has been outweighed by the gains Like it or not. Would our revenues have grown that way anyway ? Many very smart city money men think that under the old lot we would never have explored these opportunities. Do not shoot the messenger
I've wanted to make a thread about this for a while, it's a sensitive topic and I thought best let someone else make it. Also.. Salford Red's gonna ban you!
It is not it pays half the growth. I heard this on radio five and talksport earlier today Once again do not shoot the messenger. The figures are there. So could the Glazers just be very smart. Check our seat prices against arse Chelsea pile etc and once again we are not in top six yet .... I know this pisses in the wind but lets look at facts as well as fiction.
My only issue with the Glazers is the debt, which is obviously a huge issue but I do like Utd to be run as a very successful business, I would never want to rely on a single rich person to keep us afloat.
Glazers good for us...are they f**k. They're leeches and I'll be having a party once they f**k ff from the club I love.
Meh. f**k revenue if not enough of it is being spent on the squad and/or getting kits that don't look like old tablecloths.
Net spending on players before Glazer takeover £9.5m per season Net spending on players after Glazer takeover £7.5m http://www.transferleague.co.uk/pre...b-comparisons/premier-league-comparisons.html Money taken out of United since Glazer takeover, almost half a billion pounds. Total debt before Glazer takeover = Zero Total debt at the moment, approx half a billion pounds. Yeah, of course the Glazers have been great for United. I love them for what they have done to the club.
How much has been bought in is the question though sal. I know it pisses on the chips of the revolution but you need to look at the whole picture. And what does debt matter to you as a fan really ? You never owned united before and you do not now. And you never will. Ticket prices matter but look at ours next to the other big clubs. The article really made me think beyond the usual. Do you think if the butchers lad still ran things ticket prices would be nine quid ? Northampton struggling in div 2 is nineteen quid Players wages that is the real elephant in the room surely ? This thread may not make me popular but surely it needs looking at properly. If I said to you that I would give you 100 per cent of all I earned but I earned 1 million Or I offered you fifty per cent of 100 million which is the better deal? Take the socialist glasses off for a moment and do the Maths I only post what I read and await sal proving that this is bollocks btw

The elephant is still in the room sal. Are those figures about our overseas stuff right or not ? If they are right everything in those threads needs reevaluating. Please post proof btw not just old threads Is that telegraph article bullshit or not and if it is not then explain why
You might like to look on Twitter hags, the very journalist you are talking about has been ripped to shreds tonight over his figures. He's now admitted he used the wrong set of United accounts when he talked of United's commercial income. MUFC Ltd only did £2.5m commercial income last year. http://twitter.com/#!/search/diggermattscott Commercial income in the year before the Glazer takeover was £45m as well. Read the conversation between him and Andy Green. The journo has made a right cock up.
Sal burns his fcum flag and gets in the megawhore for a new shirt after reading this thread 10001 betfred in game betting But check it out please and let me know if those figures are shit or not
45 then 100 plus now ....... Statistics etc. Please post where this journo admits talkin shit sal because on twitter he still seems to be posting the same
