Well, here in this side of the world, there's been a lot of speculation that America goalkeeper Guillermo ochoa could go to the red devils in january. In some newspapers here they say that Man Utd will pay almost 10 million euros for him.

What do you think? He is really a very good gk, the only thing that I see is that he has a very emm.. "passive" style of playing (think like the opposite of jorge campos). well, first of all, ¿is anyone talking about this there in manchester? because unfortunately, here we have the bad habit of speculate a lot, just like speculating was the real fact...

well, i've heard of this in many places but yesterday I was watching the news on tv and they said that Man Utd oFfers 10 million for Ochoa, to be with the team the first day of 2008..

I tried to search around the internet on other news portals, but I didn't found anything except the mexican ones. That's how I came here, just to let you know what's been told here, and as I can see, there in england no one knows about this...

I hope it's true, because I hate America but Ochoa it's a great gk. So, if he goes to man utd I can love more the red devils and hate again America

Sorry to say it, but our dear Mr reliable Edwin is coming of age, a new keeper may soon not go a miss.

How many keepers can you have you only need two good quality keepers and maybe a much younger or older reserve keeper. Unless united plan to get rid of foster (no chance) or kuszczak (very unlikely) this guy aint coming.

Hi! I'm also a great ManUtd fan writing from Mexico. I'm also America's fan, but not because of that I will tell you what a great goalkeeper he is. Maybe he's missing some experience because he's only 22 years old, however, he's Mexico's national team first goalkeeper, and he has played two Mexican First Division Cup Finals, and several Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana games (this tournaments are like our Latin American Champions and UEFA leages). I think that he is ready for United, but I think that transfer is just a speculation, however it has been talked in Mexico like if he was being transfered already.

Oh and I forgot to mention, he has other offers for playing in Europe, such as Ajax and Racing de Santander, and he was named by the fench magazine FranceFootball the third best goalkeeper in the world.

What do you mean no - evidence suggests otherwise, though there is no official word, but United don't reveal transfer stories that easy!

If they have signed a player it will be well known, they have never signed a player with nothing at all being said about it.
