I wish Savage replaced him on MOTD. I don't mind Shearer, Linekar and even Lawrenson but I dislike Hansen.

DoctorHver Why is football such an emotional thing?

    Looks like a good turnout.

I'd managed to avoid seeing anything to do with City winning the league but foolishly decided to have a look on the BBC website to see what their parade was like... Now all I want to do is harm City fans.

Glory-hunters begin checking family tree for tenuous links to Man City

After Manchester City clinched the Premier League title on a dramatic last day of the season, fans of supporting whichever club is winning have begun looking for ways to justify their temporary unconditional love for the new champions.

29 year-old Chris Stephenson, who revealed that his cousin saw Oasis at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut before they were famous, told us that he couldn’t wait for next season to start.

“I’m definitely mad for that….I mean mad for it,” he enthused.

“I’ve been a Man City fan since my dad took a piss next to Eddie Large at Stafford services in 1997.”
“I’m City till I die depending on where they are in the league around Christmas time.”

Amongst other fans who have mysteriously started referring to their siblings as ‘our kid’ is 34 year-old David Harris from Exeter.

“What a great day it’s been for not having to go through the misery of supporting your local club,” he said.
“I reckon I’ll be supporting Man City for a long time.”

“Having said that, I’ll be making a final decision on where my loyalties lie after the Chelsea v Bayern Munich Champion’s League final next weekend.”

    Honestly?
well..... I expected more sense of sport from Utd's fans, mates.

Even if I would never like to lose a title race like that....but for them it was 44 years , for you 12 of the last 20 ..... I think it's acceptable

You may hate myself too for that, but it's what I thought

Hey man, may be a bit off topic but are Juventus considered the scum of Italian football? because a couple of my friends who support AC and Inter have agreed on that.

I know a lot used this as a dig at them this week, but I was waiting or my train back down here at Stockport station and wave after wave after wave of those 'Proud Mancunians' were either passing through or getting off there...

Then when my train came it was packed with them! Loads got off at Macclesfield, I lol'd, then when loads got off at Stoke I thought, this is taking the piss! To top it all off, a good few got off in the ''United stronghold'' of London.

    Clowns.

definitvly off ..... not only the topic

mine was a compliment to Utd' supporting,
like to say "you're a great tradition of team and supporting, you can face it better" ....and I can say that even more given that I've know you in this forum for the last years.

Just that, even if I knew those are words that could hurt a bit.
    I ran that risk.

 i wasn't having a go at you man or your club, my friends genuinely think that whereas i've defended Juve and told them they're just jealous that Juve are on the rise.

    yes, I misunderstood

Tell your friends that one has got a president mafious, corrupting and pederast, and the other one only mafious and corrupting.
Then, tell them that Juventus has never been found guilty of anything, despite being inquired of no reason.
Then, tell them that both Milan and Inter would have been punished if they were enquired in more than one field:
faulse passports (Inter), financial balance, referee pressures, illegal mediatic power exercize, using other team as satellite (Milan with Torino in early 90's), doping (Inter in 60's) corrupting referees (Inter in 60's again)....... all facts ascertained and recognized, not popular feelings of frustrated people.

Then tell them that Juve have made the history of National team, instead of buying foregneir players already done.
At the end, tell them that Juve are the still the Champions.

I would have many other things to say, but I think it's sufficient for who wants to understand.
For who doesn't, everything will be a lost of time.

Anyway......at least the fact that we're definitivly Off Topic was right ...
