    Love how he has been racially abused by this club but has no problem signing for them. This should make him even more popular amongst the arsenal fans. Good signing all the same though. He'll be the perfect man to lead the line with VDV behind him. He'll thrive off Bale's supply aswell.

    If Spurs also sign Diarra and keep Modric, then the race for fourth with Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal will be very close and exciting.

    Out of all the London clubs, which I generally hate, Spurs are at least likeable. They play good football and I honestly like to see them doing well. Ade will be good for them, as a temporary measure anyway

    Let's all laugh at Spurs? Is more a comment on them becoming top 4 contenders and potential rivals, which is what we have "Let's all laugh at" threads about.

    I don't dislike Spurs, I think they're a good team but if they become serious rivals like Arsenal did in the late 90's and like Chelsea did when Roman took over then it would be only a matter of time before Spurs evoke the same attitude as those clubs.

    That's what the question mark at the end of the title is for. Do you think that now they've signed Adebayor (a top striker) which in my opinion was the missing piece for their team, they can move themselves up into serious contenders and rivals?

    Fans are a bit nobbish but I like the club. I get fed up with them at Old Trafford. All they sing is "Just like a library" "Your support is ******* ****" broken up with with the Van Der Vaart song and when the spurs go marching in. Broken record.

    Thats a very good team. Can finish in top 4 if Adebayor can score like he did 2-3 seasons ago.

    They still have Huddlestone, Sandro, Kranjcar on bench. Thats a very good midfield.
