Pre season training starts on Monday 4 July Nicky Ajose, Scott Wootton and Reece Brown will be away at the U20 World Cup in Colombia with England from mid July until late August. I think Hernandez and de Gea may be given part of the USA tour off and will likely miss pre season training July 4 to 13 before the first tour match, and that is now confirmed with the same happening for Jones, Cleverley, Welbeck and Smalling, and Valencia definately will miss pre season and most if not all of the tour as he is playing at Copa America July 1 to 24...Fletcher not on the USA tour to train and get his full fitness back loans away (until 30 June 2012) confirmed: Bebe(with option to buy) and de Laet loans away (until 31 December 2011) confirmed: Tunnicliffe loans away (until undecided date) confirmed: Wootton(will train with Peterborough in July...then likely sign with them on a loan deal in mid to late July before departing to play in U20 World Cup and continuing his loan in late August - length of loan known mid to late July when deal is finalised) rumoured loans away: King for the season(depending on his surgery)... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11881_7004965,00.html no injuries other than King and Valencia that I know of right now
as Valencia did not qualify for Copa America QF and got injured in the first match it will be interesting to see when he returns...depending on how his injury is progressing maybe back for the Community Shield or first Prem match which would give him a good 3 to 4 weeks off?
Manchester United Official Web Site - Brady joins Hull on loan Robbie Brady has joined Hull City on loan for the rest of the year. The Irish youngster becomes the latest Red to link up with the Tigers, where he will be reunited with Corry Evans, Joe Dudgeon, Cameron Stewart and James Chester. Brady featured in the Reserves' opening pre-season friendly at Curzon Ashton and is a versatile midfielder who can also play at full-back. The deal runs until December 31, 2011 as Brady joins the likes of Ryan Tunnicliffe (Peterborough) and Ritchie De Laet (Norwich) in making temporary moves. Meanwhile, defender Oliver Gill has decided to leave the club in order to pursue an academic career at University.
Oldham Athletic | News | News Update | News Update | SAM'S THE MAN FOR LATICS Latics have borrowed Manchester United under-19 player Sam Johnstone after the keeper curse struck again. The 18-year-old England youth international has been brought in after Dale Connor cracked a bone in his finger yesterday in training. Connor joins Alex Cisak and Paul Gerrard on the sidelines leaving 16-year-old Luke Simpson as the only fit keeper on the books. Paul Dickov asked United for help and they offered Johnstone who is their No 1 Academy keeper. Johnstone will make his debut in tonight's friendly against Burnley and will also appear in their final warm-up game at Fleetwood on Saturday. The Latics manager said: "Sam is very highly rated by United and we are delighted that he is able to help us out. "Luke played on Saturday morning and afternoon and it would have been unfair to expect him to do so tonight and then Saturday morning and afternoon."
I think there's a separate thread for United players on international duty. I don't think Reece qualifies as an Injury / Suspension / Loan?
Just for the records, Valencia is training again. Antonio Valencia boost for Manchester United | Manchester Evening News - menmedia.co.uk
I mentioned Reece because the thread lists players currently unavailable to United for various reasons
good news - with depth in defence not as strong as previous seasons its crucial United get some luck on the defensive injury front this season
Rafael is a priority for the 2011/2012 season so I hope he can keep up his fitness .. Fabio too, obviously.
both will play alot of games this season, Espicially Fabio. Lets hope they both stay fit and healthy.
