will the sacking of harry rednapp effect the tranfer of modric anyway??? i think he will be more determined to leave now as it would be better to work under a new coach in united or other top club then to work under a new coach in spurs..

I just hope that with Harry leaving, Modric has a better chance of making his way over to United. But then again, he's gaining a lot of attention from French clubs with money, and they could out spend United..

he can ask for a transfer from the club but levy is a good buisnessman and he wont let him go easily but whatever the condition may be i dont think so it will be wise for us to spend anything more than 30 mills for him..

The rumour was that Levy had agreed to sell Modric, which pissed off Redknapp

That's what I've been hearing Nox and also his failure to get them into the ECL was a big factor.

He hardly failed to get them in the CL, they lost out because of exceptional circumstances

God, sacking 'Arry is just plain stupid. He's the reason they've been doing so well. Don't forget that they had pretty good managers before him without achieving anything of note. I can see a lot of players leaving, starting with VDV and Modric. Bale will probably on his way too.

Not so long ago Spurs fans/board would of snapped your hand off to be considered as a top4/5 team fighting for CL each season. Now they have that and they get rid of the man responsible for it! What do they expect next?

Mass exodus I hope at Spurs, Levy needs his head looking at!

Neill Custis from the sun was reporting that Modric would join United after the Euros, and he still reckons it.

I can see Levy agreeing to sell Modric, I just think that someone else would trump our offer and wouldn't be coming to us. Don't get me wrong I would really like to see him in a United shirt I just can't see if happening with a few other clubs having the riches to out bid us by some way.

This exodus was long imminent for Spurs. Always knew right from the start of last season that something like this would happen. Harry's gone with Luka most likely to follow, and Barcelona might push for Bale, or maybe City will push for him. Although I'd like him to stay at Spurs. Adebayor will have to take a massive wage reduction, which puts a question mark over him, and Defoe was kinda unhappy with his involvement.

    Gotta feel for their fans.

    http://www.cleansheetsallround.co.u...c-could-sign-for-chelsea-or-manchester-united

The captain of Croatia Darijo Srna has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur’s Luka Modric is wanted by both Chelsea and Manchester United.

Srna, who plays at right-back, believes that Modric would be able to find a new level of performance if he left Spurs to join either Chelsea or Manchester United.

Quoted by Sky Sports, Srna said: “He is one of the best in the world in his position.

“He could win the Ballon d’Or if he plays for a very big club. I have always said that to him.

“Chelsea want him, Manchester United too. Luka would also shine in Spain.

“At the moment it is difficult for him. I respect Tottenham and their great players, but they are a club that will never be crowned champions of England.”

Modric could be influenced in his decision whether to stay at Tottenham by the exit of manager Harry Redknapp who made sure that the 26-year-old stayed at White Hart Lane last season amidst interest from Chelsea.
