HD help me out here, I've got two blind Irish mugs who worship Rooney's cock. Tell them the truth boy.

I think RVP and Ibra are better than Rooney this season, on form - ... an on form Villa too but he's not been at his best this season but he's only played like 13-15 league games due to injury no?

Rooney's not been amazing in terms of play - but he has delivered the goods pretty much whenever asked since february last year.... he's scored in nearly every big game he's played

As I've said before about the strikers, I think there's a category of them, and on form decides who's better.

But they aren't. RVP on current form maybe is. Villa was, but we can't say for sure that he still is and Ibra is just no.

Rooney this season reminds me of 2009-2010's Rooney. Not really great in terms of playing, but to be fair to him he get's his goals. Rooney of January 2011-May 2011 can be considered as good as Ibra and Villa, but this season's Rooney is not.

Form....form....form. Ability wise? Rooney is one of the best in the world and you know it.

LOL. 18 goals in 20 games in the hardest league in the world to score in, playing with a team that his a midfield of butchers (Milan's midfield is good, but it's not very creative. Tho it's ******* solid) And in total 25 goals and 9 assists in 28 games, including 5 in 5 and 3 assists in the Champions league. All of that is not enough?

Dualta rates Rooney the best after Messi and Ronaldo. That's enough to prove that he is ******* biased.

In 2010, the best players in the world were Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Sneijder, Robben and Iniesta. No reasons to justify why Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Ronaldo are there. While Robben carried Bayern on his own shoulders to the final of the Champions league, while Sneijder did the same with Inter and Holland in the World Cup.
These guys are all better than Rooney, on both Club and Country.
Last season the standards changed a bit, since both Sneijder and Robben missed most of the season due to injuries, but the main 4, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldo and Messi carried on their good form proving that they are the Big 4.

Let's look at Rooney's own club, is he United's best player? No, a big Serb named Vida is the best player in Manchester not Rooney.

Despite all that, I would still rate Rooney among the top ten in the world.

I'm not denying it.... I've said "As I've said before about the strikers, I think there's a category of them, and on form decides who's better"

Rooney is in that category, again... I've said it before

Rooney is by far and away our best player. He plays in a league just as hard to score in as Ibrahimovic and doesn't have the third of creativity. How many goals would Rooney have if he had Robinho, Boateng playing with him? Realistically as a striker you want 3 outlets of service, out wide and creative midfielder. Rooney has one consistent outlet in Valencia and nobody else.

So is Ibra, but the difference is, he's been better.

First part, I only say that when he's on top, top form and he's not this season. I also only say that to piss some people off. Xavi and Iniesta and Robben are all ahead of him consistently as well. But he's next on the list and when he's **** hot, he's behind Messi and Ronaldo.

Second part. No Vidic is not our best player, Rooney is. Vidic is class, pure class, best defender on Earth, but Rooney is a better and more important player.

Boateng craetive outlet? Are you ******* kidding me? That's like saying that Carrick is a goalscoring midfielder. Boateng is a box to box midfielder with a good shot in him, he is not creative.
And Nani is better than Robinho, he eats Robinho.

Vidic can claim that he is the best in his position in the whole in the world. That's something Rooney could never claim.

Rooney was never the best striker in the world.

Let's look at his time in United. (Strikers who are better than him)

    2005-2007
: Van Nistelrooy, Drogba, Eto'o, Villa are better than Him.
2007-2010: Torres, Drogba, Eto'o, Ibra, Villa are all better than him.
2010-onwards: Persie, Ibra, Villa are all better than him.

It's safe to say, that since around 2005 the best striker in the world was Eto'o, with Drogba and Villa coming 2nd, Torres, Ibra, Rooney, Tevez and Persie coming 3rd.

So if we class the strikers in classes. (All world class strikers btw, just classing them up)

    Roughly the last 6 years:

    World Class A: Eto'o
World Class B: Drogba and Villa
World Class C: Torres, Persie, Ibra, Rooney, Tevez.

Now let's look at Class C and B. Since Eto'o the world's best striker, gave up his talent for the money.

2010:2011: Drogba started the season on fire on both accounts (Goals and assists) then got sick, and Torres happened.
Villa, despite playing on the wing, was ******* class and was a beast with Spain all the time.
    Ibra: Won Milan the league:
Persie: Scores when ever he wants, started to establish himself as the world's best striker.
Rooney: Started as **** with all the scandals, then turned into a Godlike player and sealed United the 19th. His form in his 3 months of the season is enough among the GOATs.
Tevez: Performed on a great level all season.
Torres: Was inconsistent with Liverpool. Shite with Chelsea

This season: Drogba: Not used much, still good.
Villa: Was good at the start of the season got injured.
Ibra: Raised his standards a level, and having his best season in his whole career.
Persie: Now finally established himself as the best striker in the whole world.
Rooney: Dropped in form, general play have been poor, but still a constant source of goals.
    Tevez: Got mad, Munich happened.
    Torres: LOL.

And since this is a Euro's draft, and country performances should also count, Rooney get's swallowed by Villa. Spain's all time goalscorer, and the goalscorer of the last Euros and World cup

Pardon me, how the hell did I badmouth Boateng? All I said that he is a box to box midfielder with a good shot in him. He is not creative and ti's a fact, he not a Silva, Iniesta, Mata etc.. he's just a hard working midfielder who wins the ball, does the dirty work and scores.

Boateng's technique, passing and general creativity has come on leaps and bounds in the last 18 months but he is still not a creative player imo. Abo's definition of him is spot on - he's a very hard working player with a terrific shot.

He's one of the most improved players I've ever seen, to go from a pompy squad player to deservedly being in Milan's starting XI is incredible, and he has phenomenal impact, but he's still not that kind of creative player.

And oh it's harder to score in Serie A than in the EPL and it's a fact. The defending in the PL is a joke compared to Seria A.

yeah but it depends on how you suit the league... Sheva flopped in the Prem, but was immense in Serie A....

Di Vaio scored less in spain than in Italy, etc

Abo is a fool. True story.

Before Rooney even had his great goalscoring season he said he was better than Drogba, that's also a true story,
