should watch again. He wasn't at first as he recovered from his injury, but recently he's been in good form.

He was shocking against Arsenal, and that's one of his 9 games all season. He's not even first choice.

mate, he's played 9 games in the league alone, despite coming back from a terrible injury, in total he's played about 15 games. He was poor v Arsenal and his first 3 games ish, he will displace nesta by the end of the season, or start of next, he's had some excellent games - and that's despite the nature of his injury which usually means a player doesn't reach their previous best till about a year after recovering (see Gattuso, Ambrosini etc) not that it's easy as Nesta is still one of the top cb's on the planet despite his age, and Thiago Silva is one of the top 5 on the planet, only Vida and Kompany are definitely better than him imo (but he was shite v arsenal too! bahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Rami > Mexes. Even the great Laurent Blanc thinks so.

maybe now, but Rami's not better than Mexes' best - he's shown glimpses - once he gets back there for good he'll be grand once more but tbh - Blanc has a different look with the NT anyway, so I doubt Mexes will go back into the side

Mexes is Rami's partner, at least he was and I think will be again. But Rami is the more important of the 2. And the better defender, has been for 2 seasons.

They started together in the friendly against Germany....I don't think Blanc thinks Sakho is ready yet.

No. He's (Along with Sergio) easily the best European right back.

he's been injured a lot this season, so his form isn't great - I'd take Micah Richards over him as the form swings it imo

**** form, players like Sagna should always get picked, like Villa.
