Well done the Thunder for fighting back to beat the Heat in Game One. When Miami built up a first half lead and my eyelids were drowsy, I went to sleep, only to wake up to find that Oklahoma outscored their opponents by 18 in the second half, to win by 11! I hope for a repeat performance in Game 2. Then it gets interesting when the series moves to Miami. How will Durant, Westbrook, Harden et al. play when the crowd raises the roof any time LeBron or D-Wade do something spectacular? Come on OKC!
I'm with you Moon, f**k 'em. By the way, the Miami crowd is known for showing up in the 2nd quarter and not cheering for a thing the whole game. Not too scared about their home court.
Watching the game right now. I'd feel better if this 10+ Miami lead could get a little smaller before we hit the 4th quarter.
f**k Cappy and Pizza man! anyway, gutted to see the Spurs get bounced albeit by an extremely talented OKC, Durant was unstoppable throughout pretty much the whole series even if my all time hero Stephen Jackson did play some of the best D you can play on such a talent, I have grown to love this Thunder side and hopefully they take it over Miami, If I were either gay or a female I would f**k James Hardens' brains out, the man just oozes swag its unbelieveable.
It is hard to explain how fun this team is and especially how likable they are. Not really any assholes/pricks/dicks on the team. Hope so much that they can win. f**k the Heat! Bout time your ass showed back up.
True. I don't really hate Lebron personally, I actually feel about sorry for him considering how much shit he has to put up with, most of the time uncalled for in regards to him not winning a ring, but I just love this thunder team, I've said since the playoffs started that if my Spurs had to go out I would want the Thunder to knock us out, I would have probably lost it had they lost to somebody like the Lakers for example, or even the Celtics or the Heat, hopefully Harden starts showing up from game 4 onward, he is the Key IMO.
I don't think Harden needs to start for him to play 35+ minutes and have an impact. What worries me is the often poor shot choices that the Thunder have been making to lose the last two games. And even with less-than-brilliant play, they've not exactly been blown off court by the Heat. I now think Miami are huge favourites to win the title but it wouldn't take much for Oklahoma to play well and level the series.
f**k this thread with dozens of comments that are totally pointless. and f**k the Heat for winning! Now wait for some more free agents to climb on the bandwagon so they go for a 2nd LeBron championship next season.
Only a week has gone by since Miami won the title but the NBA draft is happening right now. So far we've seen the following selections of this year's college talent: 1 Anthony Davis - power forward - NEW ORLEANS HORNETS 2 Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - small forward - CHARLOTTE BOBCATS 3 Bradley Beal - shooting guard - WASHINGTON WIZARDS 4 Dion Waiters - shooting guard - CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 5 Thomas Robinson - power forward - SACRAMENTO KINGS 6 Damian Lillard - point guard - PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS 7 Harrison Barnes - small forward - GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 8 Terrence Ross - shooting guard - TORONTO RAPTORS 9 Andre Drummond - center / power forward - DETROIT PISTONS 10 Austin Rivers - shooting guard - NEW ORLEANS HORNETS 11 Meyers Leonard - center - PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS 12 Jeremy Lamb - shooting guard - HOUSTON ROCKETS 13 Kendall Marshall - point guard - PHOENIX SUNS 14 John Henson - power forward - MILWAUKEE BUCKS 15 Maurice Harkless - small forward - PHILADELPHIA 76ERS That means the Hornets will have Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers (son of Boston coach Doc Rivers) playing with Al-Farouq Aminu, Chris Kaman, and Eric Gordon. Bradley Beal will be in an exciting Wizards line-up with John Wall. Dion Waiters will play alongside last year's #1 pick Kyrie Irving and last year's #4 Tristan Thompson. Thomas Robinson could be part of an explosive Kings team who have Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins. I like that my Suns took a PG to replace Steve Nash, whether he leaves or stays when free agency begins.
Supposedly when he first got there he wasn't even good enough to make the practice squad and he just kept grinding and made the college team and ended up in the NBA. Go figure.
Bulls managed to steal Marquis Teague, but I thought picking Doron Lamb & getting Steve Nash this summer would've been better. Although, we could still get Nash if CJ leaves. I can't believe Terrence Jones was the 18th pick, clearly these teams haven't been watching Kentucky this year; he's a stud. Kings, Hornets & Celtics had a great draft. f**k the Heat.
