World cup performances, of course. Oleg Salenko > Rooney for example.
You remember that world cup well of course Abo yes?
Yeah, but my personal favourite was the qualifying matches for the 1992 Euros. My mummy had a good screen inside her, and the commentary was in English too.
How about you do a time machine draft?
You pick U21 players now, but don't judge it until 2014....
I think that might be better than the usual U21 drafts, because someone could win with players that might look good now but don't actually live up to it.
It'll be a real test of how good you are at judging a player's ability and potential.
The world ends in less than a year, mate.
the games are slow enough as they are, I do not want to wait 3 years
Hmm to make it even harder, you have to survive the apocalypse.
You still only have 24hrs to make your pick but when everyone has picked it's not judged for 2 years (it's 2012)
Just throwing this in here as possibly another idea of a game to play.
Any amount of members can play, once you have a list of members match two of them.
Those two then have 24 hours to put together a team, from anywhere, past or present.
Once done, both members post their teams and all the other members then vote on which team wins. Winner goes through for another match up after the others have all played.
If there's a lot of members just play two or 3 match up's at the same time, different threads.
Then go onto the next match up, and so on. Keep going until there is only 2 members in the final.
