    Anybody have any thoughts on who will get the arm band from vidic? Depending on how he returns from Injury and how long he will continue to play...Im predicting Vidic will continue to be the captain for 2-3 years at the most. Giggs and Scholes should be gone by then (or at least not have a significant role on the team) and Evra and Rio most likley will have stepped aside for the upcoming defenders. To me the only obvious Choice is Rooney. The way he has charged up the all time scoreing list this season and his big game play, to me it has to be him. The way he performs will the massive amount of pressure placed on him by fans, media, and country is just phenominal. He is a player that would go on the pitch and play any position and is happier to win then he is to score. With one yellow card last year in the bpl id say he is learing to keep the temper in check too. Any Thoughts?

    By the time vidic is gone, the likes of De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Valencia, Rafa and Fabio may be starters and could have blossomed in the players we hope they do! (bar Toni V cause he's already sexy.)
