So thats the big name bought for the summer then?

Seriously, I really hope that we bring at least one star into the squad.....I`m not upset at us failing to win any silverware this year, but I am disappointed in the performances of the team throughout a lot of the season....There is no swagger or ebullience, or drive.....We seem to have only one world class player, ok, two if Nani turns it on, whereas in the past weve had 5 or 6 who could influence a game.

Manchester United have been and are much better than a lot of this seasons displays!

Relax.Don't give the lad too much responsibilities. He's just turned 18 and won't be use much in the first team next year.Of course this transfer isn't related to "big name signing" or something like that.

I can see him getting a couple of appearances for the first team now that we can be pretty certain Pogba is leaving. Should be good for him.

last time Crewe were demanding £8m for the lad.. Fergie will prob get him and loan him back for a season to carry on his development with Crewe

Meh, unless they go up I can't see that happening. The lad managed to score 15 goals from midfield, league 2 is not enough to help his development. Can see him being with the first team for a season or som get some CC games and then go to the Championship. If Crewe go up it's a possibility but it's not like us to loan players back and it is a bit of a waste to be honest. They need to learn how things work at United and get to know the other players before going out on loan the way I see it.

the lad is too good for League 2 - if he stays for another we can see him develop, but if he stays with us then even better. At the moment its rumors and i'll only get excited once it has been confirmed.

The price is about right for us - not too much to pay for and factoring in some necessary premium because it is us.

Ok, half the summer transfers done...

Agree.Hope he'll make a breakthrough like AOB.There are many English talents around like Mason Bennett,Barkley but SAF chose him then he must be special.
