Nuri Sahin

There's been a lot of talk about Sahin in our Transfer Section,
and also alot of replies that people don't know enough about him.

In order to get your own opinion you'll obviously have to watch the Bundesliga,
but this is a start.

Sahin, 22, is an attack-minded central midfielder who plays for league leaders Borussia Dortmund, very much a midfielder who would suit our system, he's got a great range of passing, a hard worker and an eye for goal - with 7 goals in 23 games this term so far.
He is German born, of Turkish decent.

Very, very impressive player and i'd be dumbfounded if United have not been
keeping tabs on him - also i think United will be a great option for him, and he shits all over Gibson! :fyou:

I would love, if we signed him I want him over Sneijder. Everygame i wartched with dortmund, he has been fantastic.
He has been Schweinsteiger superior, and hes still young and can only get better.

I like the Dortmund mentality, it reminds me of us.

Sahin is a very good player but he could be better. I think we would make him more of an athlete which is what he needs.

I'd really like a Gotze and Sahin double deal, I think we could make them both awesome players.

Word going round that he something like a £6million release clause, which would be a bargain. Chelsea are the big favourites to land him but I think he would be perfect here, great talent. Scholes-esque.

Short version of what I've said on another thread: i'd have him at United in a heartbeat. Has great attributes. Probably will stay at Dortmund for another season.

Well, if he starts asking for 100k+/week then we wouldn't sign him. In fact not even for anywhere near that amount. This is the thing most people forget when mentioning transfers, they just look at the price and make comparisons based solely on that

i dont believe he'l stay another year at dortmund, he's turning 23, perhaps if he were 20 or so...then again, it'l be a shame to break that side up, they're fantastic, im sure dortmund will try their utmost best to keep all their players
