I only saw the last 20 or so minutes because I had my own match but yeah maybe there was abit of complacency creeping in but that's bound to happen as we seemed invincible for weeks while City have seemed shaky...

This could be the kick up the arse we needed that will hopefully see us through. Fact of the matter is a 5 point lead at this stage of the season is a huge one..can you really see us slipping up to lose twice more without City slipping up at all?

i think the boys went in the game , with the though that it was already won. can't explain wigan having between 60-70 % possesion. i know they had a good recent spell, but c'mon. let's hope this is what we needed. no more complacency .that's a must

Not having that, little Figaroua (sp) could have done about the ball hitting his hand especially as he was falling and the ball was coming at pace. As for Welbeck i didn't even see that during the replay so that would have been softer than melted soft scoop ice cream. Then Wigan shouldn't of had their headed goal chalked off and Evans should have been sent off. So yeah we were robbed by the ref.

I still think we'll win at City.

No, but there's a world of difference between an 8 point lead and a 5 point one, it's put the pressure back on us for the match at Wastelands.

To be honest, Berbatov would have held the ball and added some much needed creativity today. Scholes should have been on the bench as well. I understand why he may not have been able to play so soon after QPR, but he should have been on the bench.

Okay, I admit it. But then I thought that we might be professional in the remaining games. Silly me.

Beat Villa and Everton and a draw at City will pretty much seal it. A win at Swansea would then guarantee us the league

Well, glad I missed that one.

Not an acceptable result, will give City hope but that will make the title win sweeter. Still in our hands and hopefully it wakes us up.

Thankfully I don't have to ready 28 pages of what I'm assuming is a huge overreaction.

Can someone please explain to me the presence of Park on the bench? In what situation were we going to find him useful. If of course the stadium got invaded by f**king Korean speaking Aliens and he might save mankind by getting them to leave but other than that?

We lost because we rested our best player of late, everyone thought this would be an easy game and we could afford to rest players. At this point in the season we can't afford to drop points so we play full strength and get the game won, then you can take players off.

Not sure what Fergie was doing, why did Giggs not come off, he was woeful. Rooney was our best chance of a goal and you bring him off? Dreadful performance today, hopefully we can bring it back against Villa.

If Scholes played I think the result would have been different.

if da ball hadda gon in da net den it would have bin a goal an all.

We were shit and lost rightfully.

Scholes needs to play every game now as without him Carrick turns to old carrick.

Carrick is a deschamps style water carrier.... great as long as someone creative nearby to give it to.

Ryans legs are not up to it . Next season wellbeck and hernandez need to improve or they will be bit part players

We've got too many passengers IMO.

    Welbeck - playing like shit
    Hernandez - playing like shit
    Giggs - playing like shit
Rooney - playing like shit (bar tap ins)
    Evra - playing like shit
    Park - playing like shit
    Jones - meh
    Cleverley - meh
Nani - pre injury he was playing like shit

We've only got 2 offensive players in great form right now (Valencia, Scholes) and two players in 'good' form (Young, Carrick).

It's time for Berbatov to play.

They've got Norwich away the weekend which could easily see them drop a few points and we should have enough to beat Villa away...

The lads will be up for the match against City regardles if the lead was 1 point or 20. I'm sure a lot of them are stll embarrassed and hurt by what happend at Old Tarfford earlier this season and will want to put that right and more or less effiectivly win the title at Wastelands
