Not the team I want to see, but what I'm expecting. If we play that I think we'll lose, I'd rather play Rafael and Valencia but I can see Ferguson switching.

I'm pretty nervous about this game. One team is going to have the edge. I hope it's us, but City will be so up for it after today's result.

10-0 to City. Possibly more. I'm a cricket man from here on out.

I don't care if Vida is injured, he has to play. On a wheel chair and he is better than all of our defenders combined.

We will have to play to our absolute maximum, midfield is the key (City's strongest area) that's where the battle is won or lost. I just have a bad feeling that Tevez will prove to be the difference.

Rooney needs to be in the midfield in this game or we will get dominated in the middle. Get it to Nani as much as possible.

    Welbeck

    Young Rooney Nani

    Cleverley Carrick

    Evra Rio Evans Rafael

    De Gea

Subs: Amos, Jones, Smalling, Giggs, Scholes, Valencia, Chicharito

That's a much more fluid front four than we saw today. They'll be much more dangerous on the break and more unpredictable. They'll be able to interchange more without Valencia in the team. As good as he's been, he's been average in the last four games. Nani has played his way into the team. Young has done well in recent big games and has provided some important goals and assists.

Scholes will almost definitely start ahead of Cleverley. But I think we need a more energetic and mobile player to play beside Carrick. Everton got the better of those two because they play narrow and flood the middle. This is something that City also like to do. We'll need more legs and energy in there. Rooney will have to drop back a bit deeper and put pressure on their holding midfielders.Yaya needs to be watched carefully, as he can be unstoppable when driving forward from deep. Rooney will need to help track him.

That midfield is basically the midfield that destroyed City in The Community Shield. Remember this?

Hopefully they can produce something similar. Let's go there and take the game to them. They're the ones who are under pressure.

I see at least one of our players being sent off in this one.....
    Probably one of:
    Roo - losing his discipline
Evans - for a shit tackle or saving a goal with his hand
    Evra - for losing it
Scholes - for a bad tackle
Rafael - for dangerous tackle or clearing off the line with his hand
De Gea - for bringing down a player in box who was about to dribble it past him into the net

And I am not holding out much hope of even getting a draw against them..... 4 - 0 and title given away
I apologise for being depressive but if an average team like Everton can score 4 past us at home, and Basle can get 3, and mighty Wigan, and Blackburn can roll us over, then what can a very expensive team with lots of clever forwards do to our blow away defence?

    As a holding midfielder, yes.

That has nothing to do with this thread. And If I saw you in person, I would stab you multiple times.
