I really hope not. We should be looking to go out with a bang and reduce that goal difference. Even if we fall short at least we will have given it a go.

The last 2 games of the season isn't the time for youngsters unless you've already won it.

I desperately want a performance out of the lads. They played with a lot of effort on Monday but they played shit football going forward too. I want to see us bang five or six goals and really just go for it. We all know that when we attack and play at high tempo, that is probably when we are at our best. And for godsake, no casual or complacent play. Does my f**king head in..

Fergie said he's not concerned with GD. It's points that are important.

Agreed the slow casual build up play has been annoying me all season lets get back to the United high-tempo stuff the Charity shield game (2nd half) Arsenal/Bolton early doors were great examples. What SAF needs to do is get them all in stick on a video of United 5 City 0 (Kanchelskis hat-trick) and say look you fckers this is how its done !!!

    De Gea

    Rafael Smalling Ferdinand Evra

    Valencia Carrick Cleverley Nani

    Young

    Rooney

Scholes needs a rest, I think. He looks absolutely shattered at the moment, he should be used as a substitute when the game has slowed down a bit, same for Giggs. Cleverley could do well against Swansea, he has the energy to close down their passers and the speed of thought to link up play through the midfield.

With Welbeck injured and Berbatov having not playing for months really, I don't feel that Hernandez is in the sort of form that could justify a start. I would try Young in the space behind Rooney, which with Nani and Cleverley around him and Rooney in front of him, could provide some fluent football.

I don't know if I'd feel comfortable putting Young in a position he has played much with us, but even though I don't feel comfortable and don't particularly rate Young I like his drive to get goals and win. So I can't argue with your team, I'd like to see it.

Welbeck confirmed to be out. Fergie's just told MUTV he's got an ankle injury. Evans is missing too.

    Here's what I'd expect.

    -------------------------------------De Gea -----------------------------------------------

Rafael ------------------- Jones ---------- Rio -----------------------------------Evra

Valencia ------------------- Carrick ---- Scholes -------------------------------Nani

    --------------------------------Rooney ---- Hernandez ---------------------------------

I'll tell you what I'd like to see more than anything, Fergie making changes when changes need making rather than just waiting until the 60th minute. When we need subs at half time we should make them.

What's quite depressing is the fact that I'm worried that Hartson is actually right. After what happened on Monday we don't know if the life has been drained out of our players and if they're still truly up for the fight or not. We'll only know for sure once the game kicks off on Sunday. The mood will no doubt be largely determined on whether City beat Newcastle though because if they do - lets face it - it's game over.

I know that Hartson is talking up Swansea more than he is knocking United but it's a worrying sign of the times that Swansea, as good as they've been this season are coming to Old Trafford with nothing really to play for and people are talking up their chances of possibly beating a United side that desperately need to win in order to still be in with a chance of the title and given our less than stellar home form this season we can't be considered bankers as we might have been this time last year when our home form in the league was fantastic.

I think all the teamsheets on this page (TheManc, Mikey, Ritchie and Ownezy) look good and effective. I couldn't argue with any of them so you would think that picking our team is easy.

What's the betting Fergie does something different!?
