The new set-up for PS+ members: Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Chime Super Deluxe Darksiders Renegade Ops Outland Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD Infamous 2 Motorstorm Apocalypse Little Big Planet 2 VF5 is June's Game of the Month, there will be a new title each month Warhammer through to Oddworld - 2 games will be swapped for new titles each month Infamous 2, Motorstorm & LBP2 are available for 12 months So there will be 3 new titles (full retail) available each month. Not bad for just over £3 a month. This lot will probably weigh in around 50gb (Infamous 2 alone is 15gb)
PS+ is an amazing feature, and this is what paid online services should be like. LOL Xbox live, paying to be allowed to play. Free modern games, free classical games, amazing sales (Tho, not as good as Steam) and cloud saving, PS+ is just brilliant. The PS+, along with the recent improvements to the PS3 shifted the power to the Playstation. I hate console wars and consider them idiocy but the PS3 is now by some distance the best console on the market and the best console of the 7th generation. Greedy Microsoft destroyed themselves, two years ago the 360 was the best console, but not now. True gamers play PC or PS3. Xbox is for casual gamers with the shitty Kinect and money grabbing , advertisement filled Xbox live.
There's a 20% sale due to start on the UK PSN from 5th September lasting for 2 week. This Includes PS+ subscriptions, which are stackable. I've stopped buying used games now as there's plenty to keep me ticking over on plus until something I really want comes out.
Playstation Plus is what paid online services should be like. lol at Microsoft and Xbox, I kinda feel sorry for their users. Saying that f**k Sony for not accepting my credit card.
I just started using it only a few weeks ago and I'm pretty happy with it. Good thing I upgraded my system memory to 500 gb. Red Dead Redemption is up next for free download. That's great for me as I had it on Xbox which unsurprisingly broke down so I never got to finish it. Suppose I should get the Xbox fixed though...
PS Life? PS+ is a subscription based plan where you get content like full games, themes, avatars, early access to betas and a cloud storage space for your save games. You can say that its Sony's reply to Microsoft's xbox live gold plan. But instead of the ability to play online (which you already get for free on the PlayStation) you get additional content.
I used it back in 2008 when first I had my PS3. It's kinda cool, IIRC you see the top news of the countries and the temperatures and weather. Also for every minute you use LIFE, a donation or something like that goes into a science lab or something. Can't remember the details, but it's for a good cause.
