    From the sound of it, United are constrained by their own personnel imbalance. The Reserves are heavy on midfielders and light on defenders right now. Therefore all the play gets funnelled through the middle of the park. Hopefully once the season starts, a few more of the first teamers will be getting a run out to add a bit more punch. Still you can't complain when they've registered 20 goals in 8 matches (even if two thumpings accounted for 11 of the goals!).

    Funny to see Mamam score, his inclusions a bit odd though I wonder what's going on there. He can't seriously be in contention for a contract can he?

    Good to see Pogba scoring though, even better to see Morrison back in the fold.

    He's 23, been on the books and didn't make it, and has been playing in the Belgian third division apparently. Not a usual transfer by any clubs standards. I can't say I've heard of him doing anything notable since, so it's a big ask for someone who's tried and failed already to force his way through the large amount of midfielders we've got at reserve level and then step up to table topping English football.

    I'd rather see Drinkwater/Petrucci/Morrison/Pogba and whoever else get the game time I guess.

    According to United's website, the squad will be the same one that played in Llanelli a couple of days ago. In the spirit of squad rotation (I never get the line-up exactly correct!) I'm going for this XI tonight .........
