I think he should be given a few minutes here and there this season, againest the likes of the lesser teams where were up a few goals and no pressure and throw him on there like Welbeck againest Stoke where we were 3-0 up i think he was throwing on for his debut and ended up scoring a screamer. I think this should be done with some youngsters, i believe that if your good enough your old enough to play first team football.

Thats orite, he's a young lad who is destined for the first team.

I have no doubt he will start featuring in the next year or two. We have enough quality in midfield just now not to have to buy and we have so much potential that there really is no need to midfield reinforcements. Folk talk about Scholes' replacement, Pogba will be pushing to be that man.

It is more likely that it was the injury he got in the U-17's that ruled him out. The FFF website isn't great unless they actually win something, then they seem to care. Otherwise it's just a few words. Because I too found it strange that he'd be training with the French squad now when there's still 10 days before the match.

Bad luck for him yesterday with the Brazilians going off injured that's probably what stopped him getting a debut, I might be in the minority I'm more excited over seeing him play than Morrison, seems to have it all.

Everyone is a Scholes replacement? Pogba is nothing like him.

Pogba looks quality, he's definitely got the talent for a big future with us and the sooner this kid get progressed the better but he's no Scholes replacement from what I've seen.

After watching the clip, along with Morrison's and Tunnicliffe's i can't see why we need to buy much in the summer. We have crazy talent coming through.

Would the fans accept it though? Or would the 'we have no money' rubbish come out again?

Alot would be happy, IE the people who have watched them over the years improve through the ranks. But then you have the glory hunters who would object because they never heard of them they aren't big name stars:rolleyes:. Could you imagine if this place was about when the class of '93 made the break through, the 3-1 defeat to Villa, Hansen's famous words.

I think it would be so much rewarding and enjoyable to watch if these lads came through and continued United's success. Especially the english lads. They would also save United millions and millions of pounds.

Agree with Harts and maco. Although big name signings are no doubt exciting there is nothing that compares to a young lad from the academy making a breakthrough. They play with no fear and are usually a breath of fresh air.

But then the people who complain about no signings complain when they don't start in big games

Yeah, to be fair there's not much point keeping them in the reserves next season. Just to name three Pogba, Morrison and Tunnicliffe are done at that level they cant improve there anymore. Either loan them or put them on the bench.

Trust me, Morrison will be a massive name in world football in 3-4 years. He's a joy to watch!

It's amazing these lads are technically still u18 players. Like Fergie has mentioned before that he didnt trust Macheda to go on loan. Can he trust Morrison? Talking blindly i would say no. So i think he's more likely to be promoted to the first team if he is deemed good enough already. The purpose of a loan is to experience and to 'man' up yea, but i think Tunnicliffe already looks to have manly attributes already. So loaning him out be a good idea? I've thought what about sending him to a more technical league, like in Holland or Belgium? Pogba looks like a man too but has great technical abilty. Maybe a 6 month loan to a Championship team or promoting him aswel.

Fergie has important decisions to make i feel.

Pogba still needs to play at least 6 months of regular reserve football, in my opinion. Morrison and Tunnicliffe are ready to feature for the first team next season, even if it's only in cup games.
