Reserves Vs Liverpool (a) (19/4/12)

This is another early kick off. United who clinched the title on Monday night, against Newcastle United. The lads will be looking to make the gap at the top a bit more comfortable against their closest rivals. This game back in December produced a great game, with one red card and plenty of goals. United came out on top on that occasion.

Subs: Jacob, Blackett, Fornasier, Giverin, Ekangamene.

Adam Morgan starts for Liverpool, caused United plenty of problems in the past.

Tom Thorpe is playing defensive midfielder, Ritchie De Laet is at CB, with Fryers at left back.

Not seen a whole lot of United going forward. Not been helped by the lone man up front.

1-0 United (M Keane)

Lingard puts a low ball in, Liverpool didn't do very well at the back, was a simple finish for an unmarked Keane.

Stewart "Change of boots for Ngoo, it looks like."
Paddy "A change of feet might be better for the lad."

2-0 United (Lingard)

Great long ball from Keane, Lingard controlled it with his face and finished well.

Absouletely pissing it down.

Wet and windy conditions not helping a whole lot. Petrucci almost played Cole in, but for it.

1-2 Liverpool (Ngoo)

Fornasier replaces Cole.

Second half been a better contest. Liverpool have come out a bit more than the first half. Into the last 20 minutes.

Clear handball there, poor from the referee.

Suoso caught Fryers on the ball, he delayed with his shot, and fired high and wide.

United got off there, Eccklestine heads well off target from a good position.

Giverin on for Vermilj.

And again Eccklestone was in, great block by De Laet.
