I have read all sorts of theories as to why he didn't turn up. Obviously nothing can be proven. He played the "I forgot" card and served his ban. He turned his United career around and will probably be remembered as a legend by most fans.

I find Tevez doing this funny actually, if anything all this will do is make Fergie more ruthless and brutal when it comes to reclaiming the title.
