Does it need the ridiculous formation? Its clear Macheda will not be playing a big role, there are 3 strikers out on loan, and Owen is happy on the bench, yes we have a fair few strikers, but why not when 2 of them have possibly less than 3 years left at the club and 3 of them are still under 19... Not to mention the video shows him as quite a versatile player... Last season when Rooney got injured we were ****ed, we had virtually no cover, and Berbatov was awful on his own, TWO players signing will help that...

I think the difference between Hernandez and Bebe is that with Hernandez at least we had form to go on but with Bebe we have nothing to go on at all. Hope he does well though and he's sure to have help settling in with Nani, Ando, the twins etc.
He looks so rough round the edges, but there is something about him what looks impressive. It reminds me a bit of the Obertan signing, you can see genius if you look hard enough but whether he will make anything of himself remains to be seen. Quieroz and Fergie are both good judges of players, so I have to assume they know what they are doing with this player but it seems odd in many ways, paying over £7mil for a striker who is untested at any decent level when we already have some excellent young strikers in the squad already! We are crying out for strengthening in midfield which is why this deal seems crazy!! There must be something which has made Fergie act so quickly.
Yea...7 mills is a lot. Real were in for him too...looks like we're trying to snap up all the raw young talent who could potentially be worth millions in the next few years. I guess Fergie is tired of regrets about players we've missed out on in the past
Yup, the stench of Madrid but it still seems very far fetched. Fergie isn't that reckless in the transfer market so he must have got some glowing reports. He goes look comfortable running the wings and attacking from deep so he might be able to play in a few positions. I just hope we have done the right thing because I can't see us spending much more this summer. How serious were Madrid? Was it just a Marca story?
