    Watched him for ages in the Reserves/Acedemy and he always looked a talent...

    NOW he has announced himself to the masses!!! FEDERICO MACHEDA!!



    Personally, he has so much more potential then Welbeck IMO.

    So happy for him...and he does a Gerrard and kisses the camera. This can only don wonders for him now in the future...


    ...and hats off to Fergie for sticking him on. I was baying for him to be played earlier in the season...but I will settle for this!! He just doesn't score bad goals!!!

    seen glimpses of him on MUTV and looked quality but lots of players choke when stepped up a level. sign of quality is when you acclimatise to that. only one game and not to go too over the top but lets hope macheda is a new breed of united kids who has winning in their DNA

    I can't lie, i've never heard of Federico Macheda (don't watch reserve games) but he impressed me today. It wasn't just the goal but his control of the ball, power and attacking awareness were fantastic for someone so young. I can only hope Fergie gives him many more opportunities to prove his worth and maybe become the next great player for the club.
