Yes, that is Marion Cotillard in the video. She's a really good friend of the singer, Maxime Nucci (who is Yodelice btw).

I've been thrashing the Beach House album today. Really nice stuff, the singer has a fantastic voice.

A friend introduced me to Beach House recently. I like.

I never really liked Teen Dream as much as others seemed to, but the new one Bloom is fantastic. It's a lot dreamier which is right up my alley.

Also, one for all you My Bloody Valentine fans out there; Kevin Shields has (again) hinted at a new album and said it could be done within a few months. Keep in mind their last album was 21 years ago so I'd be cautiously optimistic.

Here's a quick run down on albums you can expect to see released over the next few months. A few caught my eye, including:

Beach Boys' new album
Linkin Park's new one
Sigur Ros - Valtari

Add to that SP's new record Oceania the potential of new albums from Alice in Chains, Tool and MBV and we've got a good year ahead.

Excited by Rós, MBV and Tool's new albums. Been a decade since SP pulled a truly great album. I don't enjoy LP's last album. Beach Boys' could be interesting.

Alice In Chains stopped making albums at 1995 and they are not making any albums this year or any time again.

I can't f**king wait for MBV's new album. Also Neil Young is supposed to be making a new album in the future, I'm dying to hear it.

f**king love this album. I should listen to more Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree. Been a while since I listened to PT.

Corgan reckons Oceania is his best since MCIS so I'm cautiously optimistic, especially with EMI taking them back on board which is a sign that the record is good.

Are you saying that because Layne is gone? Black Gives Way To Blue was actually pretty great.

Will, hopefully SP release something noteworthy.

Obviously because of Layne, he was the heart and the soul of the band. AIC died with Staley.

I think it's a bit rough to dismiss the current band if you haven't heard the album. I can understand what you mean, though, I feel the same way. Still, DuVall is doing a good job supporting Cantrell who has taken over most of the vocal duties.

It's a testament to the band to have been able to recreate the classic sound so well without Layne.

I listened to some of the songs on that album, not impressed.

RHCP are coming to Lebanon in September, should I buy tickets? Not that much of a fan, but they have some pretty cool songs.

Why won't DT, PT, Tool, PJ, SP or RH come to Lebanon, but RHCP come?

Not just Neil Young but Neil Young AND Crazy Horse. It's called Americana and its out June 5th. The rumour is its very folky which is surprising for an album with Crazy Horse.

Yeah that's very strange, can't wait to hear it.
