NOT nervous, relaxed , cant wait for it.
If you have more than 1 tv, yes.
Make sure the house is very dirty. Have a cloth and some lemon pledge at the ready.
great thread SAL.
I just got more nervous reading this thread.
It's times like these I spite the fact that I'm in a new country and I don't know any drug dealer yet.
Started off well enough but now.....
Im going to annoy Sal by posting in his in box as to how his nerves are every 5 minutes
My nerves are getting that bad I'm afraid I might just hit the ban button for someone by mistake.
I'm actually pretty calm, considering the magnitude of the game. Calmer than I was before Wembley anyhoo...
Chances of maintaining that calm between the hours of 8-10 tomorrow are slim-to-none
My mate is going over to this....and is sitting in the City end. If you see someone celebrating a goal scored by us in the City end that would be him...was nice knowing him anyway
Deep breaths and try not to cry during work.
Its just a game, the rivals come and go but they cant sustain any challenge as long as we can, this has been proved again and again and again. Where are Leeds, Liverpool, Blackburn, Villa, Newcastle and Arsenal now? The same places Citeh will fall to, even if we let them pass us this season. Sure if they win it wont be nice, but it wont last
I have no lectures or anything anymore, so nowhere I have to be - I'm off to the pubs with a few mates sometime mid-day - and that'll be it. Only 2 of them like football though, so I don't know if I'll watch it in the pub, or come back to my room, as I've got some cans in
I have a strict policy that unless I am at the game itself (or with a whole bunch of United fans as in the Champions League final last year), I will never watch a United game with anybody else. It's a superstition - the last time I watched a game in my college bar with my mates was back in 2009, and we lost 2-0 to Liverpool.... and even N'gog scored that day. It was the last straw for me.
I don't like watching it with others either - except my dad when I'm home - I just enjoy watching in peace.
I'm debating flying solo.... Well, by solo I mean me and a case of Rekorderlig....
giving you a like for the rekorderlig...
Also - change of plan - I'm going home to watch the game with my dad!
To be fair, THAT is the way to go.
Had the whole of my team out drinking it last Sunday
I really think I'm gonna watch it solo - I'd feel bad exposing other people to my full repertoire of gestures, facial expressions and expletives.....
if you can keep your cool when those around you are losing theirs.....
if you can maintain dignity when others abandon manners
When we get a result every utd fan in the ground has to do the poznan until every bertie has finished wiping away his/tears and left the council house
I can't wait, I can't remember a game for a long long time that I have been so fired up for.
Kick off can't come soon enough but it will worth the wait when we embarrass them tomorrow night. No chance they are having us with this much at stake.
