A big season ahead for Fabio, post Fabio related things here

Although we didn't see that much of him last season, I think he is breaking through well, and should be a great season for him this one.

yep, I think this is the one where he really have the opportunity to show us what he is capable off.

For sure. Fingers crossed he will be given more opportunities to prove himself this year. He is a talented player, no doubt there, just need to be given more playtime.

i think he will start the season as first choice at RB, like how he ended the season just past. One good thing is with O'Shea status still unknown( going to sunderland?), he will play a bigger role with his versatility. He can play right back, left back, left wing, right wing, and more importantly, in the reserves he has been playing in Central Midfield.

I hope to see more of him at left back this season, so him and his brother can play at the same time.

i have gotta hold my hand up because i have said on a few occasions over the last couple of seasons that Fabio will not make it at Utd , based mostly on the injuries and niggles he and the other twin both seem to pick up , however over the last couple of months of the season he got himself in the team and he started to make some eye catching progress to me , i now think he is better than his brother ,which is what was said when they arrived at Utd .
i do forget how young they are , but they are getting to the age where rapid improvement is gonna happen and this coming season could see Fabio cement a place in Utds team .

This quote is just so sweet. He's also establishing himself at 1st choice right back, although I wouldn't be surprised to see him switch back to LB in a couple of years when evra finally moves on. Both the twins are continually improving tactically, and flying into challenges a lot less frequently which is very reassuring. Predict a big year from Fabio, hope he doesn't lose his tenacity though

Fabio has been called up to the Brazil squad.

He's in the latest Brazil squad for the friendlies against Mexico and Costa Rica. Anderson wasn't selected but Ronaldinho is back in the squad.

Why are they constantly overlooking Anderson? Anyways I hope Fabio has better luck with injuries this season.

Because he is not good enough? I love Ando, but since August this lad been shite.

That's what I mean, surely Fabio could be allowed some gametime over probably one of our worst players this year. How Ferguson doesn't see it i'll never know?

The only thing this could mean IMO is the rumors about is getting Clyne are true and he'll be back up left back and IF we're really stuck Evans could play there too?
